Nop, there's a lot of default Source textures in there. I'd know, I spend hours in hammer editor.

Yup, it looks great. Still, there is room for improvement, personally i'm used to more detail when it comes to source engine maps. Some universe banners, flags, veichles, lightposts, pipes. Anyhting to break the currently prominent square shapes and making the game stick out from the rest of the generic HL2 mods out there.

I agree with some of the comments above, it does look under detailed. The map is missing something... You should probably detail more with props.

As the maps are still in an early stage (with constant revisions happening to the layouts) only essential entities are currently implemented. This means in the images for Crossroads there are currently no props, ropes or particle effects etc. This image is a WIP supposed to convey theme and brushwork, please do not consider it final in any way.

Tharaptia, you are right about the current textures (i think only 2 in this image are custom) we do however have 3 texture artists churning out custom textures. Black Sector will eventually be a total conversion.
