While adding Black Templars as the separate race, this mod does not change the original gameplay style of Soulstorm and compatible with others race-mods. The mod brings Emperor's Wrath upon His Enemies, the Black Templars Chapter, whose zealous space marines prefer close combat over ranged warfare.

WHAT.. THE... HELL...?!?! Achilles First-Person Mode seen through the Tank Commander's view.
how did you get inside view?
@.@ Who needs a 40k MMFPS now eh?
Yes, the damage and hit-FXes of Thunderfire Cannon must be re-worked.
О боже мой... как давно я этого ждал. jONES... я буду тебе поклоняться как богам хаоса или императору, если ты это доведешь до конца и сделаешь управление с клавы.
The Thunderfire Cannon animation is excellent!!
It is not stationary, but it moves both in the x AND the z axis :O
VERY good work man :)
Yes. BUT! In accordance to Tabletop rules, it must works by a different way. It [should] fire in "barrage" mode, with no requirement of "line of sight", and make "blast" damage. So it should not aims horizontally and must goes vertically to fire on large distance.
The same applies to the mobile Thunderfire Cannon.
Brilliant work!
im gonna be honest this is very impressive work I never thought I would see a first person view in this game I would love to see this put into other mods like UA would very benefit from something like this
I'm thinking a SCaR script that bolts a camera view to a x and z and using Camera_FocusOnTargetSGroup and initiated by button or hotkey but the rest I'm stumped. Really nicely done :)
It is the Camera_SGActivateEntityCam SCaR-function, so you just need the model preset with camera.
Ooooooh, I'm guessing it works with ALL entities then. Would love to see it work on a commander. Presetting the camera I would imagine and then it sticks according to the SCaR file you've made? Even third person dynamics would look good this way.
it works with ALL entities, which model HAVE the preset camera with KNOWN name.

You should consider putting that info on a readme file inside the archive so the information is presented along with the rest of the files.
Nowadays, players and newcomers(modders) do not bother reading readme files
Others modders (not like you and me), considered normal to copy the contents of the other mods quietly, without attracting attention, concealing information about where and what they took. Forming a false impression for the players, attributing itself another merit.
So today I prefer to post (as much as I can) info online, before the content starts its traveling from mod to mod.
While I understand your point of view, placing only info on the comment instead of comment and readme just because almost no one would read the readme follows the same principle as the next example:
"I will not put a download available publicly because almost no one of those who would download it will actually use it".
Understand jONES today I know where the contents of the download came from but if i hadn't created a readme of my own and included it along with the files, some time from now i would get to work on it again and would not remember the info was on one of your comments.
Nowadays people in general seem to have trouble reading (not just players and modders) and most readme files are usually just a bunch of text saying "drop this in this folder and you are good to go!" which isn't helpful when you are trying to understand where models come from or something like that. Zany Reaper in TTRU mod was one of the few exceptions, the readme file is big but at least it lists pretty much who did what and that sort of things.
Please keep in mind my suggestion for future archives, the readme can be a simple copypaste of what you intended to comment, doesn't need to be a work of art.
Either way keep up the good work!
looks just awesome! never saw something like this before! keep it up!
