Fight your way through the abandoned, war torn streets of New Metro City as Black Ops agent Declan Walker. Use your influence as a military operative to call in support from the skies, use advanced vision enhancing technology to silently stalk your enemies, and take down nearby hostiles using a new melee counter system. You are no longer the hunted in Black Ops. You are the Hunter, and this city is your preserve.
Work your way through the Black Mesa facility as Agent James Harris, also part of Black Operations. Work together with your team to fight off the waves of HECU Marines, Xen Aliens, and Black Mesa Security as you make your way to the center of Black Mesa with one goal in mind: Kill Gordon Freeman and any remaining personnel in Black Mesa.
Take on two important roles of Black Operations members stuck in the middle of a war that cannot be won. You must Survive, or humanity will Die.
Black Ops: Source is a remake of the original Black Ops modification for Half-Life. Despite this, calling it a remake simply won't do. We don't just plan to remake it, we plan to create an entirely new game with an entirely new style, new gameplay elements, new levels, new NPC's, new weapons, and even an altered story. Don't get us wrong, this is still at it's core, a remake, but with a new, glossy shine to it.
Tracking our Steam account is a great way to get info before it officially comes out.

Hey everybody! Ya miss us? Well, we're Back in Black gentlemen, and as ready as ever to fill this page with as much content as we can. So, without further stalling on my part, let there be updates.
Yes, we all know that this is the reason you guys come here, for the screenshots, model renders, and music. So, we'll just get that out of the way first, shall we?
First off, the screenshots, and yes, there are a lot of them. These are of the city levels, or at least one of them. The city itself is designed after the Big Apple, New York, New York, more specifically, Manhattan. All of the buildings are fully detailed, so there's no expense spared. Please note that these are more Work In Progress shots than final products. Just showing off what's ahead for this mod.
Now for the work of one of our talented musicians and composers, here's the music you've all been waiting for (for the past three months I believe?)
Also, while I've got your attention, I'd like to direct you to our ModDB forums, and to our new, bare-bones website. Again, the website is still very much a work in progress, so don't judge it too much.
Well, that's it for the media section of the update. We'll keep you posted on any other updates as they get put up on the site, and on ModDB
Hi, and welcome to the news section of the update. First up, I'd like to introduce our new team members, without whom there would be no update.
I'd like to welcome our two military advisers, who have thought up of the brunt of the gameplay ideas. They are diesel1064, and Phenixtri, and they keep this modification grounded in realism, so that our ideas don't get quite too out of hand.
Let's also welcome our newest member, the team's coder, comanoodle. We should be able to show some of his work within the next month. Please, let's give a warm welcome to our newest composer and musician, KamilOrmanJanowski, the man behind the entire soundtrack you've heard in this update. I'd like to welcome our new voice actors onto the team as well, InebriaticXP and Zammuel. Let's also thank Jackar, our level and web designer, who is responsible for our new website, and will be responsible for some of the new levels coming your way. Second to last is one of our newer members, TH13RTEEN, who would have been responsible for the new Panther Eye model, but it's not quite done yet, so you'll just have to wait. Lastly is our talented Graphics Designer and Video Editor, Lethys. If you like the new logo, he's the guy to thank.
So, with that out of the way, I've got some bad news, and some good news. Bad news first: our extremely talented Weapons Modeler is no longer working with us. It's a shame to see him go, but we wish him the best of luck with his future endeavors. The good news is that we are finally on our way down the Yellow Brick Road of development. You can take it from me followers and content searchers alike: We will not die!
Another piece of good news, if you don't mind. Developer, Nadestorm Entertainment, or what's left of it, is merging with our very own Scorpio Studios. This is great, because it allows us to come together and work on a steady project, using the talents of both teams.
Well, thanks for sitting through this update. I hope you all enjoy the media, forums ,and website. Have a nice Summer everyone, and be sure to track our ModDB page!
Looks so good.
Happy birthday to me....... as of tuesday i am 15. so yay me.
Glad to hear it.
just a question... how to do you plan on doing all that extra stuff like thermal vision and self-awareness? do you guys even have a programmer?
Yes, we do. The problem isn't really the programming part of it, but the animations needed for self awareness. Things like thermal vision, night vision, AI that uses cover animations, and iron sights are pretty basic to program, or have templates on the Valve Developer Wiki.
That's why we need a 3D model artist and an Animator...
omg if u guys know the insurgency redeployment update today they say they might add mantling which is hurdling over object? can u guys add tht?
We are planning on doing that, both with the player and the NPC's.
nice change name =)
Yeah. Figured that it would kind of solve the name problems. No one should mistaken this as a Source version of Call of Duty any more.
I hope...
This likes nice! :D
