This is a mod I'm currently working on. I don't know when it will be finished yet. I have uploaded a few maps just to see if you like it. They are a few levels of the surface chapter. A bit strange but that's where I started. I plan to work from the surface and further than I will do the levels that came before it. I would like to say that the models you see are borrowed from the mods, black ops, black death, and opposing force redux enhancement pack. I am not an experienced modeler and I don't know anyone who is. I just found the best models I could. So give me no credit for any of the models. And also don't give me credit for the HUD because that was borrowed from black ops as well. The level design isn't perfect but you should find it to be at an acceptable level. The background is, you are a black op sent into black mesa to cover up the black mesa incident and destroy the remaining HECU.
You will visit mostly new and some old areas of black mesa

you will fight monsters from the original half-life and from opposing force

you will get mostly half-life weapons and a few opposing force weapons

fight along side with black ops (they will be the opposing force grunts in a black op skin) but that doesn't really take away from the mod.

Well after being dead for quite a while, I have finally risen from the grave.  The reason why I was dead for so long is because Hammer became frustratingly unusable.  It first started by me not being able to select items in the 3D view.  I was told that it was some problem with ATI graphics cards (which I had).  So I tried a couple of solutions which only solved some problems & caused others, so I eventually gave up.  But months later my PC became horribly infested with viruses & had to be taken to someone to get fixed.  After waiting for months I finally got my PC back just a couple of months ago.  During the process of fixing my PC, a new graphics card was installed (my other one was no good), and this one is not an ATI, just recently I reinstalled Hammer & I didn't get these errors.  Strange how a graphics card can cause such an odd error.  So my mod is no longer dead, but I do not know how often I can really work on it, I am currently working on other projects involved with film making, nothing to do with modding.  Hopefully I can finish this thing, & hopefully it does not die again.

Also, I have been notified that another user has duplicated my mod & is advertising it as his own.  He even took my Demo & re-uploaded  it.  I would like everyone to report this user & his duplicate of my mod.  Nobody should get away with stealing someones work & claiming it as their own.

Bad idea. Seriously. You really need to knuckle down and learn how to map well unless you want to recieve a low score. Its not all about looking good but optimising it to run well at the same time. You really need to work hard to get something others will want to play.

I've been mapping for over 9 years and I am yet to release a single mod.

4. yes there will be a plot, if this mod hd no plot it would be a bit usless

5. if this mod falls I will try to offer it to another team, a more skillfull team and also when I completed my mod I was planning on offering a skillful modding team to spice the mod up a bit. Although the thing about offering a mod to another team, it usually never happens. I have seen mods die when the author may allow other people to finish it, but that never happens. When a mod dies it dies.
