In this chapter of the Black Mesa Incident you are a highly trained Black Op Soldier. You were sent in with a small squad to assassinate Gordon Freeman as well as other personnel that gave the H.E.C.U trouble. But as the grunts begin to fail and pull out your orders change. Now you must silence HECU soldiers that were left behind and conceal any evidence of the Black Mesa incident. In this journey you will visit new and old areas of black mesa, battling the forces of xen, race x, black mesa security guards, and HECU stragglers. I also plan on adding some new enemies, ones that Gordon & Adrian didn't get to see. With all these adversaries ahead, its good to know that these ferocious agile assassins will be on your side.

I only recall a handful of mods using 3D skyboxes, so it's great to see it being used to such a great extent here!

Can't wait for further updates!

The only mods I know of that allow 3D skyboxes are Spirit of Half-Life, Cry of Fear, and Xash3D. This was created using Xash3D, which is basically an even better version of Spirit of Half-life.

The mods I played were Russian proof-of-concepts, will need to track them down on my HDD since their names elude me.

Guess the reason why we don't see 3D skyboxes for the most part are due to accessibility. Almost everyone owns Half-Life yet not a lot of folks know about Xash3D.

That's what I meant. I sometime forget to distinguish the 2. Xash3D is just the base engine while XT contains all of the mod tools.

Does Xash allow custom skin usage ?? Or model audio replacements?

If so I didn't know about that. Need to check it out again.

it does, you can replace models and sounds just like before, it also has an easier method of replacing textures.

I agree this looks remarkable.. Your mapping has improved a lot over the years.. Fantastic work.

Eventually see that you can variate the rock textures a little more to add more diversity to the scenery.
