Run. Think. Shoot. Live. Source. Black Mesa is the Half-Life 2 total conversion of the original Half-Life game. Utilizing the Source engine and its endless array of possibilities and powers, Black Mesa will throw you into the world that started the Half-Life continuum and introduced Gordon Freeman to the world as a gun-toting, bullet-dodging Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics.

Wow... I couldn't possibly have imagined this to be any better. I'm truly amazed, particularly with the new animations (like in the tentacle scene) and the incredible depth of life and atmosphere you have breathed into the environments. I can't wait to play this and enjoy HL in a whole new way.

I don't usually comment these things, but I can really tell you worked hard on this. I'll consider myself to be the biggest Half-Life fan ever till the day that I die. From now on you have my official blessings, and I can tell you that if this is what the game will be like...well...ironically, Half-Life will finally have something to worry about. This will do it justice. Good luck, and fight hard!
