Utilizing the Source engine and its endless array of possibilities and powers, Black Mesa will throw you into the world that started the Half-Life continuum and introduced Gordon Freeman to the world as a gun-toting, bullet-dodging Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics. This mod is not dead, we are still hard at work on it.

Holy! How in hell do you get these look so good?
These lifters played such a minor role in the game. Just shows how above and beyond the developers are going to add those extra layers of ambience to this mod.
They're also part of the continuity. They had a bit bigger role in Op4... anyway these robots are one of the best evidences that Black Mesa is a high-tech, big-budget facility.
