Half-Life 2 mod | Released Dec 16, 2012
Black Mesa: Uplink is the recreation of the Half-Life demo (HL: Uplink) released by Valve in early 1999. The demo featured content that was scrapped from the original storyline. Some might consider it canon with the story, others don't. What matters though, is that many people enjoyed this short episode and that's the reason why I created Uplink for Black Mesa, the long awaited Half-Life remake for the Source Engine.
To play Black Mesa: Uplink, you will need the Source SDK Base 2007 (free) and a copy of the Black Mesa (also free!).

An update for everyone who has participated in the 3FM Serious Request Charity Event. Between the 18th and 24th of December 3 DJ's from a national Dutch radio station are holding their 7 day famine while being locked up in a glass house, to raise money for the Red Cross. This year's goal is to fight unecessary death of babies in third world countries.
I've asked the followers of my MOD to donate some money for this cause and I'm glad a few of you decided to help out. Together we''ve raised 50 USD and I've donated 40 EUR today. Currently 4,3 million EUR (5,7 million USD) has been donated by people in the Netherlands and with 1 day left it''s likely to become even higher. Hopefully a lot of good work can be done with that money.
EDIT: Event has officially ended and a record of donations has been raised: 12,25 million EUR!
Thank you all for the support! I wish all donators, followers and voters a merry Christmas (if you celebrate it) and all the best for 2013!

Very bad. Small mappack for BMS, very short and very poor quality especially light. My eyes flow with rivers of blood, when I saw how you did the lighting on the models.
I can't believe that it is in the top 100. :(

I found the sewer areas lacking a little in detail though.
Still, not a bad mod, and well thought out and planned. Very serviceable.
No seriously, the mod is not so bad but not so good too. It could be good, if the developer had taken his time to create it.
Here, because of using the originals BM's files, and because of the level design, we have the impression that the mod is unfinished.
