Black Mesa: Insecurity is a re-imagining of the Half-Life expansion Blue Shift, created for the Source engine mod Black Mesa.
not but its missing a few dead bodies here and there tbh :/
"bad" dammed typos and 5 min edit limit >_>
There is a dead scientist behind the first security jeep :)
Wow, how did you spot that? I can't even see it! HAha
He didn't have to spot it. He is the creator. Look under his profile pic: "Author/ Creator" So he would already know that it was there.
This is a bit nit-picky but I want to say that the curved road (not the road that the military truck is sitting on) that connects directly to those parking spaces should only be a one-way drive, making it unnecessary for the spaced white lines in the center. Other than that this space looks much more purposeful than the original.
Thanks for your feedback! :)
Cant wait for this. currently let's playing black mesa source on my channel if you ever need feedback on your work i would love to beta test it. also will you be useing the weapon models and guard hands from BMS?
Maybe stick a "reserved for employee of the month" sign on the parking space with the sedan.
Fantastic work as usual this looks epic. Try to replicate the damaged car though where the hood or engine bonnet is open. Things like that told little stories about the personnel during the incident. Also so far we've seen only Security jeeps. I hope you wont forget about the regular jeeps for common Black Mesa personnel. :)
Looks really great! Wonderful work recreating this area, congrats!
The only thing that bugs me a bit here is the parking spots, especially the first one with the civilian car (left). Why should an engineer make it like that? It looks odd and you miss a whole second parking spot over there. You could recreate this area left of the pic. Also, I agree with bobsam. The discontinuous white road line in front of the parking lots may look nice, but I doubt this area is big enough for two lanes. You could place a plain concrete texture on the road here and add two signs: one 'mandatory entry sign' e.g. where the red car is and one 'forbidden entry sign' where the road starts in front of the left civilan car. So basically you make it a one-way road and cars are supposed to enter from where the red car is and exit from the other side, no matter from which direction they come :) Of course, just a suggestion.
Other than that great job mate! I can't start to imagine how difficult it is to work on such a project on your own... Keep going and good luck!
Looks perfect, but is it just me, or are those white stripes between the security car and civil car a little bit off? They look like a waste of parking space :p
