alpha 3 tester hazard dev team anywhere qa/testers the black mesa hazard course team is working on a small "expansion" of the popular mod, black mesa. we aim to re-create the hazard course from the original half-life game. at the time of posting, this is an early closed alpha test. this means that we're going to limit testing to a small number of people. over time we'll let more people in, if we get enough applications. this does not mean your application will be ignored, it just means it might take time before we hand over the assets and ask you to test. the job is unpaid as we are a mod team, not a company. a tester will: - answer a questionnaire. - report bugs, glitches, and exploits. - state what he/she likes. - state what he/she does not like. - state what he/she would like. - repeatedly play through, even if he/she gets bored of it. - test builds or updates upon request, and report thoroughly and in detail. a tester will not: - demand anything from the developers. - shamelessly criticize the mod non-constructively. - invite other people to test. - distribute the mod assets. - play through a few times just for fun and then stop all involvement. - refuse to test.

source choreographer hazard dev team anywhere web/other the hazard development team is working on "black mesa hazard course", which is a small "expansion" for the popular source mod, black mesa. the aim is to reimagine the hazard course from the original half-life game, and ultimately end with a level that blends seamlessly with the base mod, black mesa. we are in need of an animator willing to work for free on their own time. the requirements are as follows: - capable of communicating in english, and updating frequently via skype, steam or email. - capable of using source's faceposer tool to create believable and realistically choreographed scenes, facial expression and lip syncing. - capable of communicating and coordinating with level designers (though not necessarily their programs) to properly implement choreography. if you feel you meet these requirements, feel free to contact us with your application. while including a portfolio and examples is a big plus, it is not necessary. there are no minimum requirements for previous projects or experience, though they are also a plus.
