Hey, that's actually quite a good idea to put a window there, it breaks the emptyness of the area.

When DID Gordon take the Hazard Course Decathlon? Because you can put something in the sky like a sunrise, to signify it was the first thing he did during his day.

Nobody really knows. Gearbox's version has him taking the Hazard Course directly before he went to work that day, but there are some issues with that. I personally don't think it makes sense from a realistic standpoint, and Gearbox games are of ambiguous canon status at best.

So since nobody really knows for sure when Gordon took the training course, we've decided that we have the creative freedom to put it wherever we feel like on the timeline. As for your suggestion, I think that a sunrise could look pretty cool from an artistic standpoint. I'll pass it on to Jeff.

It was the one day before his actual work.
He was trained for his upcomming task at Black Mesa so he could propperly use the HEV for the experiment.

However the difficulty of the test caused him to oversleep that night.

So if anything, this would have to be like 5-6PM shortly before sunfall.
Hence why in the beginning of HL, he arrives late.

There is no canonical source for that. If you cite any of the Gearbox games, I will note that none of the stories in the Gearbox games have any official canon status other than the nuke at the end of Op4.

The ambiguity allows us to place the time and date of the Hazard Course pretty much anywhere before the Resonance Cascade. Besides, it seems unlikely that Gordon didn't get any HEV training until just before the test. He would have begun his training around the time of his employment, which means he was new during training. However, everyone in the labs already knows him by the time of the Resonance Cascade. That makes it unlikely that the training took place anywhere near the events of the main story.

Description

Sector A's tram station is closer to the surface than most of the other stations in the facility. It stands to reason that now that it's not a high-security cold war military base, they'd install a couple of windows to let natural light in.
