This mod is based on the movie, which is based on the book, which tells about the events in Somalia regarding UNOSOM II and all that. Fairly good summary on this page, but quickly: Somali warlord starts messing with UN convoys, and the US responds. We lose two blackhawks over Mogadishu, and ODD (Delta Force) and the Rangers head in to rescue the downed pilots. It happened a while before the war going on now.
