i have a little problem with mods,if i download them i dont have any mods folder,its just not in the world in conflict folder,can you help me with this?
you have to make it go to all users then you make a world in conflict folder then make a mod folder after put the mod there so it should be like this
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\World in Conflict\mods\blackhawkdown
just create one
i cant play a skirmish(it start and after 1 sec it move to main menu) what did i need to do ?
by skirmish do you mean a LAN game?
Ya, same LAN game, guess you need human players for the mod to work for now.
no you dont, just add bots in. TankGun are you having issues getting the mod to work?

not yet, sorry. there'll be a lot of changes in this next release so it'll take some more time
when i install it give me an anvalid data error (error 21fc), i really dont know what to do and i was hoping you guys could help

when im playing with bots just as everyones troops are gonna come it goes to the main menu then i start a skirmish again and it goes back to the same game so how would i fix it
hmm, it could be that your computer can't handle the masses of guys running around... try turning down your graphics or decreasing the number of bots
Hey im having an issue,
I start a lan game with bots, and everything is going fine for about 10 seconds then the game crashes to the main menu?
does it happen when you bring in a specific unit? if not, try the above solution ^^
No its not a specific unit,
The computer is well able to handle it.
Yeah my computer can run it too i was thinking of maybe an official WIC update or something so im gonna try that but yeah ill try with no bots and just bring down different units and see what happens.
yeah that's funny cuz you guys are the only ones that have reported that problem. if you know how to run the game in debug mode and then send me the debug file i could try to help you out, but if not, i don't really know the problem so it's hard to fix
why can't i play this mod, i already do the same thing what wiseguy24 told, but somehow, when i play WiC and go to options and go to select mod, there are no mods...??? can anyone help me....
yeah, the folder should be blackhawk_down, he spelled it wrong so make sure you have that right
Ok... for the crash to the main menu problem, its because the bots are porting huge amounts of units into the game and the game just can't handle it. decrease the # of bots to about 3 each or maybe 4
for me the mod comes up in the mod selection and it works when i click on it but everything is the same
no new units no new tactical aids no new campaign just the old ones
make sure that the folder they're in has the exact same name as the .sdf inside the folder (Blackhawk_Down)

Its on the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\World in Conflict\mods\Blackhawk_Down
Is there a Map supplied with this mod? if so where is it?
Also, when i load another map with the mod on, is it supposed to load back out on to the main menu as its not supposted to work on them maps?

qsito erm.. right i have downloaded the mod, however the mod activated but nothing changed plz advice
i need you to check wherever you installed the mod to and make sure that there's a folder there called "Blackhawk_Down". The folder name has to be the same as the .SDF file inside of it. PM me if you need any more help.
hey this mod works only on few player mode for me up until a enemy unit captures a post then the game crashs anyone know how to fix this problem
Which OS are you running it on? Do you have Update 10 for WiC?
what would i have to do to get it to work for vista

Okay...1st, when i start a skirmish/lan, there isnt that new map that you made (unless you havent finished the map)
2nd, same as sebo13 and centrey, the game just crashes to the main menu, i started it again, and did the same thing...help would be appreciated :)
make sure you're running update 9, as the mod is not compatible with update 10. secondly, you've installed the mappack to My Documents/World in Conflict/Downloads/Maps?

I have a problem. I did whatever you said when installing in vista and it didn't work! I open the game go to options and mod and nothing appears!?!
What am i going to do? I have WIC on a laptop.
