Last version was better. This will get seriously annoying after the 8th time.

Oh hell yes I love this! Honestly what is wrong with you people? Have any of you played Resident Evil? Think of it this way... This builds up tension, I mean, right?

I agree with CyberNinja, this kind of room switching evokes good memories of the antici- pation, tension and fear I felt when I was opening a door in "Resident Evil" - gives you time to imagine and be scared of the "things" that may be in the next room... ^^ Definetely prefer this version over the simple "screen goes black" - solution! :)

Holy shit that was loud.

Truthfully, this WAS exactly like the original, only that the camera was closer and experienced head bobbing slightly, with footstep noises.

Sry but I need to agree, if you see this one too often it's about to get weird for the player.

You should use both ways. Version 2 for new door you have not passed through yet and version 1 for doors you have passed through multiple times.

You could perhaps make it skippable if it's starting to get irritating.

And to add to MegaManJuno's comment, Atleast use it for doors when it's supposed to be scary or you know something will happen in there.

I remember in Resident Evil the first time I went to a new area I were like, "Oh man what's gonna be behind this one". Sure as hell builds up tension.
