Big Brother is a single/multiplayer modification for the Valve Half-Life 2 Source Engine and some legacy maps for the Original Half-Life Engine. Big Brother is a "government conspiracy/ fight the system/ rebel against those who take our freedoms" kind of modification. It is about the government tricking citizens into giving up their freedom and rebels fighting for them back. But there is a twist!!
After the Xen attacks on Black Mesa the American people ask the government for more protection. The President signs the Executive Order for the Intelligent Security Localization and Abnormal National Defense System (ISLANDS) to take total control of the peoples protection. People slowly give away freedoms in exchange for safety. You are a rebel and fight the system.Or Do You??

I'm making a note here: The mod is still alive... Big Brother Mod is still alive. We have been in constant struggle over the last year between school, jobs, girlfriends,... and the mod, but I have taken some time to get some more work. The story has been refined some more and I have been working for hours on a few of the first level maps. I'll try to keep you all informed more and post a few pictures. BTW our website has been updated by myself to be cool looking (css, flash intro, flash image gallery,...) and work on Firefox and IE so stop on by and check it out.

The Idea of "FIGHT THE POWER" always rings beautifuly in my mind.
Is this going to be more story driven, given "The Twist" or more multiplayer driven?
Well in all Honesty, I would suggest (as if my opinion matters) that your mod Focus, only on the Single Player aspect. I cant name 2 many mods out there that are driving for complete story, its mostly multiplayer.
But yes Ill be sure to keep check on progress, It sounds like a great Idea.
