Battlefleet Gothic is the game of spaceship battles in the dark future of the 41st millennium. Fleets of enormous starships engage in ship-to-ship combat among the darkness of the galaxy in a struggle for the domination of the Gothic Sector! All the action takes place in the game as you match wits and skill against your opponent. This modification is a total conversion of the base game and replaces the cityscapes and barren wastelands of Dawn of War with the endless cold void of space. Gone are the men and women under your command; you fight with battlecruisers and arcane relics inbetween the stars themselves!
A small update on progress with the Dawn of War modification.

So it has been a while since progress, a long, regretable time. But now, things are moving again. No more college commitments for me. At the moment, I'm redoing the cruisers as per a new idea we've had - that instead of being able to build seperate cruisers, they operate as seperate hardpoints on a single base hull, bought from the same part of the UI as weapon upgrades in the vanilla game. The Imperial cruiser base is currently being unwrapped then I will texture it, skin it and import it into the OE. Hopefully this means a fully 3d cruiser base model to show off, ingame. After that I will work on the Chaos cruisers.
Gorb has also been working on the code build and progress is looking good on that end. The first public release, which will hopefully appear later this year, will feature the Imperial Navy and Chaos fleets and maybe Eldar. The rest of the races will be added slowly in the form of expansions. At some point, there will be a campaign expansion as well, with several campaigns - The Gothic War and the Damocles Gulf Crusade.
