Battlefleet Gothic is the game of spaceship battles in the dark future of the 41st millennium. Fleets of enormous starships engage in ship-to-ship combat among the darkness of the galaxy in a struggle for the domination of the Gothic Sector! All the action takes place in the game as you match wits and skill against your opponent. This modification is a total conversion of the base game and replaces the cityscapes and barren wastelands of Dawn of War with the endless cold void of space. Gone are the men and women under your command; you fight with battlecruisers and arcane relics inbetween the stars themselves!

What I have found with the flight ability in DOW. Is that you can have the models move in a 3D environment and use more of the 3D Effect.

So if the terrain was made 3d in shape and had asteroids, placed in the flight passable areas that they would represent going over certain asteroid fields.

Also ships would go down and up and not be planar in formation.

Assuming you could put no flight areas on the map you would have a more Spacey 3D environment to interact in or game through.

Just thoughts that came around while looking at the Vinidicare assassin, and thinking about Redemptionists moving through a 3D terrain environment like they do in Necromunda.

I know this might sound absurd, but it is a theory to get around the planar limitations without the need for model work, by just using map work.

Love your work as always. :)
Keep going strong.
