What if the Cylons hadn't been able to hack into the Colonial defence network? What if instead of shutting down all the Battlestars with the push of a button they had instead had to fight their way through the layers of defences that had been built up over forty years of uneasy peace. This mod aims to allow you to find out for yourself. Take command of the mighty Colonial fleet or the colossal Cylon armada and fight for the Twelve Colonies!
So here is the patch for mod which adds original series (TOS) units to the mod. There are also several changes which I've thrown in for good measure like the new Cylon space station and Arvak battlestar. To install simply follow the instructions and when it asks if you would like to overwrite the existing files click yes. If you are not a fan of TOS Galactica then simply follow the readme file i am including in the download. Enjoy!
How can i access the TOS units in GC?
If you want to make the units available in GC then you will need to change the files.. In the xml directory search for Galactica and Hades and open the files named old Galactica and Hades TOS.
Then scroll down to the entry marked tech level which will currently be set to 99.
And change this to the tech level you want the ships to be available at, eg 4.
Save and close, then start the game. The units will now be available in GC.
Please note though that their cost and build time are the same as the new versions of the Galactica and Hades as I haven't balanced them for GC.

Should be tech level 5 in skirmish
Look for the area class Battlestar and Cylon Basestar
Now the fun part, hunting down all the changes and splicing them into my personal version.

It's why I did this version as a patch rather than just an addon of the specific changed files
Okay thank you i got it to work :3 however i do have a question i checked out the Underworld tanks and they have no textures and dont fire on targets. Also was wondering were the Pegasus class can be built at because i tried looking at the xml and it says its available but dont see it in GC and also if the Zeus can be used to in GC?
As with the last release the Pirates are still unfinished so if you try and play them there will be bugs and unfinished units.
Mercury and Zeus class should be available in GC but something to consider is that they are limited units. You can only build a couple of Mercury class and a single Zeus class so if you already have them on the map then you can't build anymore until they are destroyed. That may change in the future but no promises. Also I have been informed that the original creator would like me to remove the Zeus class so don't expect to see it in future releases. I have a possible replacement lined up though...
Tried finding them and still no luck and also looked in the XML and nothing i noticed is different o.o

Yes but no Zeus or Mercury to build in GC
If you look in the xml file then you will see down by the skirmish values a population cap line
For the Mercury this should be limited to two if I remember correctly (I'm not by my computer) and one for the Zeus. If you want more of these ships available in GC then just adjust the number upwards. You should then be able to build more in campaign.
I'm pretty sure the Underworld tanks have a fire bone called Muzzle_01 instead of MuzzleA_01, meaning they need a hardpoint to work.

HOW DO I ACCES THE TOS UNITS
having some issues with capitol ships like the Galactica or Mercury class BS just spinning in circles when I tell them to attack a specific vessel

Awesome mod, Love the no hardpoints and the smooth combat. for a incomplete mod it seems to have more material and than other complete mods. I did find a bug. I dont know if its just my computer but when I try to play as the Cylons in Ep. 4 "Survival" my game crashes. Otherwise a fantastic mod
Yeah I'm aware of that bug, I have tried to fix it once already but it resists!

ik this is gonna be late comment but ie recently istalled this mod. starts off with the battlestar loading screen but then crashes due to " syntax error"? is there a way i can fix this?
Syntax error huh? That's usually caused by an error in one of the files. Does it specify which file has the error on the message? Have you tried reinstalling? And if you have then perhaps you are installing it in the wrong place in the files.
