Battlestar Galactica The Awakening hopes to coninue with the highest standard bug free mods that they have currently released, the mod will contain units in a previous partcial conversion mod released by the team. Colonial Wars was a mod which had thousands of downloads and was mod of the Week on EAWfiles for over 2 months, the mod saw many downloads and the team thought the mod was completed to the highest standards possible. The Modding Team will continue to keep the mod at its highest Standards.

Sounds Technician, Must be able to emulate the voices and sounds of the vehicles from the show.
Skinner- To Texture the ships and vehicles in content
Modeller- To create models of the building. ships and vehicles of the show.

No offense, but in BSG there are NO shields, as well as NO turbolasers or ion cannons. All ships have mass driver-type weaponry.
Sorry, but the other mod has shielded battlestars and baseships equipped with lasers, and that just really pisses me off because that just isn't right.
I agree, and if you want variety in the game with projectile weaponry, some name suggestions are: mass driver, autocannon, coilgun, or railgun (of course mass drivers are actually just big coil or rail guns, and gauss cannons are just another name for coilguns). The old series in fact did have plenty of lasers, though, but the new series just has projectiles and missiles.

Will Rosalyn be using Colonial 1 or some other ship?
I see on your unit list you're including the original battlestar galactica, will it have a different model than the one from the new series in the game?
Yes it will be the old Galactica from the old series shows

BTW: our Lead Coder is a big fan of BSG and he would love to make some effects(projectiles,explosions,...) for you. If you aren't sure if he's good enough i could give you some internal videos or screen shots(or just have a look at the latest teaser and screens^^),believe me when i say that he's really talented in creating particles/projectiles(with the particle editor,not via XMLs!!).
