This Homeworld 2 Game modification aims to recreate the atmosphere of Battlestar Galactica. Give complex tactical commands, such as suppression fire, defensive tactics, movement under fire, and more as you try to survive the Cylon onslaught. Want to level the playing field? I have to say, what a beautiful mod.. but I noticed something when I first saw the Resurrection Hub. It's way too small, well at least I thought it would be bigger. It might have been mentioned before, if it has been then I'll shut up and cry in a corner :) But kudos to you guys, beautiful, awesome frakking mod! Keep up the good work :)
Oh nvm. I just saw an canon image of the Hub compared to a basestar and it shows that the size is about right.. It's just when I compared it to a Resurrection Ship that it seemed so tiny. Like the res ship is almost larger than the Hub? :S
Great job guys. I just need to say, that galactica is too weak... i mean in the show they had mostly only galactica in battles and she survive trought 4 series... some advice: stronger hull like 3-4 times, look at the last episode, the battle in colony, how much fire she can take and stand together, but in the mod she cant stand against 1 heavy baseship... more accurate and faster flak... in comparision to cylon shield star is too weak... and also KEW turrets need more power... galactica can be most rare and hard to build but didnt she deserve it? right now she is on top of that build list and almost for free... one last thing pls... how can i set galacticas flak fire against missles only in battle with baseship and not fire always on fighters which just fly around? How can i change ships stats on my way? thanks and keep up the good work
I don't think that galactica should be stronger: she's an old class battlestar so it is normal that she's not as powerful as the others battlestars. it has to be cheap so you can build it up soon because she's very helpful if you have to fight against fighters and she's enough strong to take 2 basestars out fighting against them at the same time. in the last episode she fights a long time, that's true, but eventually she falls apart. anyway i think that if it is possible, it would be nice to see the galactica deploying some nukes during a fight. we know that she's armed with and in the 12 episode of season 3 she was going to launch 6 of them
I think I speak for everyone who keeps vigil on on this site to get the latest news and download the latest version of the mod that all the effort and hard work you guys do to bring us this mod is greatly appreciated. This is the best BSG mod out there and I tend to look at it as the official BSG game that we never got from the official developers. Thanks also to Scarbrow and yafn for putting up with the repeatedly nagging questions of "when will it be out?" and "why is there an expiration date?"
