I've been pretty busy with other things lately, but i'm getting back to modeling the next upgrade to the ships. Heres a look at the railings and chamfered edges:
By omitting the 3d portholes and doors, as well as doing some other optimizations, I've actually brought the total polycount down from around 14k to around 12k on the lod0 model. Thats without some extra details like davits and anchors, but when all is said and done the models should be about as poly-heavy as before.
