A small news post to share with you some of the brand new media coming to Battlefronts of War: Dark Forces

SOUNDS:

Let's face it. You love sounds. Especially Star Wars sounds. Whenever someone plays a bit of Star Wars, wether it be a blaster, dialogue, or music, it's instantly recognizable. The same thing can be said for Battlefront fans. Unlike most Star Wars games, Battlefront had the most diverse sets of combat dialogue, and many unique sound effects including weapon hits, death clones, mission narration, and so on.

With that said, I'd like to announce that starting within the next day or two, I will start the painstaking process of cataloguing every notable sound effect in Battlefront 1 and 2. Everything from narrative dialogue and squad commands, to weapon hits, explosions, and mechanical whirrs will be recorded as their own file. There is currently no database that has all available sounds, and the sounds within battlefront are encoded in a way where they simply cant just be extracted from the game directory. This makes it a difficult process, but in the end ensures you will have the most authentic experience possible while playing Battlefronts of War: Dark Forces. Once all of this has been done, Triangulum will code all of these sounds to their respective units and rightful places. In the mean time I'll be searching the internet for any pre-recorded sounds that others have been gracious enough to upload.

Basically, this means there will be very few original sounds in empire at war, and as a result, any and all sounds unique to Battlefront will be included.

TRAILER

Along with this process which will probably take a few weeks, I'll also be working on an intricate trailer in an attempt to show you the feeling of nostalgia you might get while playing Battlefronts of War: Dark Forces.

   Stay frosty.
