The aim of our modification for first release is to have a series of story linked maps in a campaign of Imperial Guard vs Tau Empire.
Our objectives for first release are as Follows:
- 7 Classes for either side
- 1 APC per side (Imperial Guard Chimera APC with Multilaser, Tau Devilfish APC)
- 1 Tank per side (Imperial Guard Leman Russ Battle Tank, Tau Hammerhead Tank with Railgun)
Imperial Guard Cadian Shock Troopers
Most of the recent progress has been in creating sound effects for many of the weapons and vehicles of the Imperial Guard.
As for modelling we are facing problems importing the cadian infantry model to the bf2 engine. Duke has been busy creating infantry weapons such as the Laspistol and Rocket Launcher.The Hellgun Currently is awaiting textures to be made for it. Bismark who is trialling to join our team is working on an Autogun. Alan is working on upgrading the Chimera APC model with Multilaser, and he is Making the Commanders Artillery in the form of an Earthshaker Cannon Platform.
Tau Empire
Moguri created these wonderful models in the summer. The Tau infantry models have texture alignment problems and need to be animated.
Space Marines, Chapter: Blood Angels
Mycatfield has been working on this space marine progressively for the past 2 months. Hes very busy so he works on it now and again, he would like constructive feedback on his model please post comments in the gallery on our forums. We hope by the time its finished we should have our space marine vehicles upgraded to bf2 standard. Space Marines will not feature until the second release of the mod.
i collect tau (i know i colect warhammer 40k how geeky) how sweet will it be to use those tau... it would be impossible to make kroot though.
