We are in need of more download servers, please get in touch with us on the official website if you can assist and have the bandwidth allowance and can afford it.
There are no public game servers for this mod at the moment.
For those who want to host their own game you need 64kb upload for each player in it.
Notes to the public
Even though the status on our profile states Public Beta release this mod is still in an alpha state.
(note to moddb add a Public Alpha release button).
There are many features still lacking and many bugs to fix.
In this Alpha Blood Angels vs Black Templars
(For all of the GW Warhammer 40k fans screaming imperium fighting imperium, we know but this is the
race that currently has the least bugs and is the most complete)
The IG will be next to be introduced to the mod.
Once we have more races modelled, unwrapped, textured, scripted etc there will be no more civil wars ;)
The release today is to give the community a taste of the potential of the mod once it matures more
in its technology and development.
Features of battlefield 40k alpha
-Blood Angels vs Black Templars
-Scoped Boltgun, Boltgun, Bolt Pistol, Chainsword, Missile Launcher (Krak), Grenades.
-SM Bike, Rhino, Predator Annihilator, Land Raider Crusader, Whirlwind Hyperious(coded as a regular
whirlwind for now)
-3 Custom Maps: Blood Canyon, Sub-Zero(Only Maps to feature anti base camp), The Battle for Respus.
-Reuse and modification of an existing bf1942 map Berlin
Unique Features
- Enclosed Transport Vehicles with doors have to be opened for the passengers to exit by the driver pressing the open door key(Alans Idea), Landraider and Rhino feature this.
-Anti-Basecamping Technology built in
(Lionhearts idea to introduce, and on a poll on the old forums decided on 58% for and 32% against S4.invisionfree.com
, implemented into maps by Zero1942, technology based on serversidemods work)
-Anti-Vehicle Stealing (The understanding that one race will not be able to understand anothers technology)
