Description
The landing craft, vehicle, personnel (LCVP) or Higgins boat, was used during WW2 and the Korean War. During the Korean War, it was used extensively in Operation Chromite during the amphibious assault to retake Inchon bay in south Korea.
The boat could transport many men to the beaches with protection against small arms fire. The LCVP has a .30 cal M1919A4 Browning machine gun for defense.
