What are yall doing for a damage model for the weaponry? Will it be closer to a more realistic model like FH2 or PR or a more vanilla one.

Similar to PR and FH2. Although some of our weapons even have more recoil than their counterparts in PR or FH2. Remember, all of our weapons were donated to PR back in 2009. And as such, they re-purposed most of our weapons into their PR:Vietnam and PR:WW2 minimods. We use our own, original soldier deviation and recoil values. So, while we use the better animations and sounds PR gave our weapons, we use our own damage and recoil. So we will feel a bit different from them. Some stuff recoils more than even in PR so take that as you will.

We are officially going for realism here, but with a bit more simple gameplay than PR, so you can say we take inspiration from FH2 and PR, yet we share some assets with PR.

Oh, also all of our maps so far have bots for singleplayer, so we do make sure to let people play with bots in case we don't have any dedicated servers up or something. We will try to make online a priority though.

Description

The Katyusha (BM-13) was a multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) developed in the 1930's with the ZIS-6 soviet truck serving as a platform which utilized the RS-132 aircraft rockets used on the IL-2 Ground-attack plane. This weapons system was used heavily in WW2 and in Korea.

Katyushas (BM-13s) saw action in the Korean War, used by the Chinese People's Volunteer Army against the South and United Nations forces. Soviet BM-13s were known to have been imported to China before the Sino-Soviet split and were operational in the People's Liberation Army.
