We have a small update today. Most of our weapons are nearing completion of the model phase. The Remnant will have 30 different weapons in their arsenal and The Reavers will have 27. Once finished with weapons, the modelers will be shifting their attention to more static objects, so we can finally give our BF2 maps some Apocalyptic atmosphere. Meanwhile the port from BFV to BF2 continues to go on at a decent pace.

The animators are currently swamped with having to make unique animations for every weapon. Some mods have the luxury of borrowing animations from BF2 since many of them are modeling the same or at least similar weapons. For the Apocalypse, most of the BF2 animations will be pretty useless. They just won't fit our unique weapons. We are well underway with getting our new animations in game.

The design team is about ready to hit another milestone this weekend with finalized concepts of our first release maps. They should be able to give us some info about them during the next news release.

Also, Juralis has written his latest Modder's Journal page. He's a little fired up about seeing all the neat weapon model WIP coming out from all the modelers. We'll have more to show in the coming weeks.
