Hello soldiers!

As of the 29th October 2015, Ussuri Studios is no more, it has instead been renamed to Kasōzō Bungei International to signify that we are cutting our roots as a subsidiary with our parent company, the CAT Mod Development Studios.

In other news, after a long unannounced cease of development, BF2: Final War is finally back on track, or at least partly. As you may have read the header of this article, BF2: Final War is changing it's development plan. This is mostly because of the fact that the original plan is no longer sustainable nor plausible since it had too many elements to be incorporated for 1.0 release. For example, to have 28+ factions for release 1.0 is hardly realistic. Instead we have cut down the amount of factions for the 1.0 release to 9+ factions. However, after 1.0 release there might be a number of updates, hotfixes and 'DLCs' as they are called. These DLCs can contain what ranges from new maps & map packs to whole new factions. Anyway, this will also mean that development will be temporarily set back to Pre-Alpha as the mod has to be rebuilt & restructured.

Beside those news we have an announcement to make, Kasōzō Bungei International has entered an collaboration with the BF2 Unlimited Action Development Team, this will be noticeable by how we'll for instance will share some content with each other, so some features & content seen in for example BF2: Final War may also be seen in BF2 Unlimited Action and vice-versa.

And lastly, Kasōzō Bungei International is currently recruiting more members for the modification development team, we are mainly looking for animators, 3D artist, 2D artist, level artists & programmers though we will also accept others if our certain criteria is meet.

That is all for now, stay put for more news regarding Battlefield 2: Final War and Kasōzō Bungei International in the future.

it would be better if you create organizations as factions, since organizations contain different countries, this would save time and filesize.

for example: i liked your idea when you added NATO & CSTO factions. in NATO, you could put then all the western stuff like M1A1, Leopard, Challeneger etc and in CSTO you could add then all the russian, chinese stuff. Same for MEC since MEC is a coalition of middle eastern countries, you could add them too and fill theyr faction.

each organization faction, you could give them a generic soldier model. example: in NATO faction, instead of adding single U.S, german, British soldiers etc. you just give them theyr own uniform with NATO flags, like the MEC.

it would be better than adding single country factions IMO and save time.

just my 2 cents

Though it may save time, it would cause too many problems with this mod, one of the main problems being that a lot of content would have to be cut out for numerous reasons. So no, we won't change our current factions plan. But thanks anyway for trying to help, it is appreciated.

I have extracted Audio from several games, i know how to use this audio quite well, and i am also very familiar with audio editing programs, audacity being my favorite, since i first used it to record music projects. Since this mod is Non-Profit it is perfectly legal to use such audio. IF you would like me to be an audio developer Message me. In the message include info on the mod, sounds that need to be added and are planned, and contact info if you wish. Thank you for reading.

Actually, it depends on the game you extract it from and which companies who developed and published it as the EULAs terms often still applies even though when it's non-commercial. To be able to extract and use audio from other games at least written permission is needed. Though some developers and publishers allow content to be reused within their respective series, for example; Battlefield P4F content may be reused in other Battlefield games as they have stated that they (EA, DICE & Easy Studios) either allow it or doesn't much care about it. Without that it would be illegal to extract and use their content as it would breach the EULA.
