This mod adds new units to all sides along with a new soundtrack with more to be done in the future. This mods previous name was Battlefield 1945-2012 and changed to something more suiting and well a better appealing name.

Now what does this mean for the mod? Well in essence ALOT of things will be changed. Such as new vehicle statistics such as armor changes, speed differences ect. Now here's a list of what WILL be done for the next release. Aka Roadmap.

Current Unit Changes:
Remove all WW2 vehicles (maybe keep the T-34 and Sherman tank.. maybe, The Iowa will stay but most likely a new voxel)
Provide each vehicle with its own unique weapon IE, the Ah-1 and Rah-66 will have different weapons AH-1 with gun Rah-66 with anti-tank missiles.
Give bombers a new "bomb" instead of just a falling "ball".
Replace stock units with at least new voxels (aka looks) and change weapon parameters.

Building Changes:
Add new defensive weapons.
Possibly add a few new buildings.

New Unit Changes:
Add "Hero" vehicles.
New "support" units
Possibly add new Superweapons. (planned one is being made as of this being posted)

Now thats what in the current roadmap things may and will be changed.

Now about the "hero units" and superweapons. The building superweapons will most likely be removed. Why you ask? If everything goes according to plan there will be no need for them as you will have "Mobile" superweapons. If you have every played Ace Combat you will know what I mean. Care to guess which two are planned/being made? :P

Now the Hero units will be from/based on Ace combat. Current working units (only 1 has been shown in the images) is Ciphers F-15C, SU-37 yellow squadron. Pixy's F-15 is also in however unsure if to give to soviets or just remove. More on this later.

Last but not least I will be doing a progress report at least once a week to show off whats being done. So stay tuned!

I recommend picking up 3DS Max and give it a few months of practice, the mod will look special by then ;) as for public assets, don't use them since most of them don't look right. :P

as of now i dont have time for that, i have little experaince with it b4 but nothin id want to throw in my mod, + im very picky aboutthe public assets and when i started this i was just adding the units that didint go into any mod but could have a good potential in 1 so im givin those that didnt make it into a mod into this 1 (even tho some are in others) and imo for the time frame i set the voxels are decent enough and besides not many people mod/play ra2 anyway so no real time effecient for me to do the 3d max stuff for this game atm.

Now if i move this to generals or another C&C game then i will gladly

I would strongly recommend at sometime adding THEL systems (Tactical High Energy Laser) and possibly MTHELs (add the word mobile to the front) because the selection of AA in Ra2 was disappointing to say the least and besides, having a turret or battleship (or jet even) loaded with an AA laser is just plain cool.

PS. Wikipedia has a page on THELs, i'd give you a URL but i have to be a member for a week. type in THEL in Wikipedia if you want to find it

i have to say, this mod has a very difficult instillation processes. either that or i'm restarted, probably the latter. could you please write up a more detailed processes please, because i tried installing it 3 times and failed miserably all 3 times. please help me out, this is the mod I've been looking for for a while (from what I've seen, not played)
PS. Great job so far, a lot of it looks almost professionally done

thanks and sure to install the mod (use the 1,5 version) extract all the files to from the zip folder to the main directory of ra2 for example mine is: G:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer The First Decade\Command & Conquer Red Alert(tm) II\RA2

now since im using first decade i have more lines than if u have the actual ra2 disk but this is the main ra2 root folder Command & Conquer Red Alert(tm) II\RA2 just extract all contents in zip folder to that location and it should work you can tell if it hs when the start up screen is different. remember this is NOT a YR mod RA2 ONLY untill i say other wise. also the names,cameo's,prices and unit strengths are "beta" so to speak but the releases out so far are jsut to show what to expect. the version im working on now has most/all fixed and will be realeased in withen the next few weeks

is there any fancy to way to turn it on or off? because i did everything right (at least i'm pretty sure i did) and it keeps running red alert II. does the mod conflict with cracked Ra2? or can it only be accessed through the "start up menu"?

im not sure if its affected by a cracked ra2, and whati mean by start up is the main laoding screen theon with statue of liberty and kirov's screen is replaced. what i will do is work on a exe that will install it automatically will take me a few days to complete tho
