The total conversion modification Battlefield 1918 (or BF1918 for short) takes Battlefield 1942 into a whole new scenario, the first world war. Next to historically correct equipments and vehicles, we recreated the atmosphere of these WW1 battlefields as close as we can, keeping in mind the game we are working with. To achieve this, we have drastically changed the gameplay from the original game like so that you must now rely on teamwork, artillery, trenches and slow vehicles.
Battlefield 1918 combines fun with historical correctness, gaming with history, the memory of one of the most terrifying wars mankind has ever known, with fun had by people over the internet. Next to the battles fought on the Western front between mostly the Germans, the British and the French, wealso cover other scenarios, such as the Turkish battlefields at Gallipoli, the Eastern front where Germany and Austria-Hungaria fought against Russia, the Italian front and lately the battles in Africa. Next to land- and airbattles using historic weapons and vehicles, we are also planning on covering the naval aspect of WW1 in a broad spectrum, as this was the time in which the great battleships still were the absolute rulers of the seas.

Inside1918 is a small community still working on Battlefield 1918. We organize tournaments, events and LANs around the game and we are keeping the mod alive. Hello, this time we want to update you about new stuff that will make it's way in the upcoming version 3.1 of Battlefield 1918:
The Austrian Regular will be equipped with the standard rifle of the "Kuk"- Army, the Mannlicher Modell 1895,
They will also use an armoured vehicle, the Panzerauto Junovicz, that will give supressing fire with it's 4 Machineguns.
Also we show you the Canon Waggon, that will be part of an armoured train on the eastern front.
As always, we are looking forward to any kind of help, especially in the field of coding.

Okay, I downloaded the mod but there is no executable.
I'm a complete n00b when it comes to BF1942, Modding especially.

ok you just use the installer .exe file and install it to you bf1942 directory in your mods file.
so something like this EA/bf42/mods, might be different to your directory,
so just browse you bf42 file an search for your mods file and install it there.

Good idea :) But you must add the Ottomans in this mod + no palms in Turkey (look at Microsoft's Flight Simulator 2008 xD) Anatolia and Middle-East is different :)
