In the morning of December 16th,1944 German Forces launched a surprise attack in the dense Ardennes Forest in Belgium and Luxemburg. Allied High command is hastily rushing re-enforcements to the area, to counter the surprise attack and prevent them from crossing Meuse river. Can you stop the elite of the German panzerdivisions, or vice versa, lead them to victory? Find out. Features include but are in no way limited to: -The new Automatic Territory Capture system (thanks to AnyGameX) No more flagpoles simply capture territory by having more men in it than your opponent. -Fuel and ammo consumption -Realistic tank combat featuring historic penetration values, tanks have their turret rotation times reset to the actual speeds of real life, visibility reduced to reflect the limited line of sight from tanks' vision blocks. -new units such as the Sturmtiger, M36 'Jackson', M4A3E2 Sherman "Jumbo" and many, many more. - more than 35 exclusive high quality winter maps & realistic athmospheres
The Moebelwagen was the first tryout of equipping the Panzerdivision with AA Tanks. The Armour flaps had to be released to fire.
No good news for you players, this one will replace the Ostwind Flakpanzer. Anyway, the Flak 43 will still be a mower.
Model by DmZ, Animated by Eliwood. Skin by me. Many thx to Xalibur for bringing this into the game.
yea, I know, there is much snow in the picture. Its for demonstrating reasons. ;) The next version will feature much better winterizing for the original relic maps, without touching them or any need to download. This one was actually taken in Lyon.
why are u replacing the ostwind instead of just adding this no offense but it seems stupid to me me
historical reasons. The Ostwind was not in service by the time of the Ardennes Offensive. Only one prototype was assigned to the 1st SS Panzerdivision. That one may show up...but the Ostwind wont be constructable anymore.
thanks i did not realize that i like having historical accuracy.
The Mobel skin looks great, and i can't believe that's Lyon!!!
Say... i've got a piano that needs moving, you think they could help? ;)
is it the piano in Lorraine? ;)
The trick itself is simple, but turns out as quite a bunch of work, to make all maps look good in BotB.
beautiful.
IIRC didn't the Möbelwagen have a 30mm Flak 43 gun on it, instead of the common 20mm Flak 38?
Still, all I have to say to that is: OW.
Ok, I found an article about it on Achtung Panzer, and I forgot to mention that it's spelled Möbelwagen, not Moebelwagen: Achtungpanzer.com
Apparently the experimental Möbelwagen had the 2cm Flak 38 (the quad, not the single gun), while the Production version had the 3.7cm Flak 43 on it. Any chance of seeing an experimental version of it, out of curiosity?
Also, any chance of building a static Flak 43?
Looks great, Halftrack! Glad to see you back on track (for now at least;))
its Lyon, exactly. And you are right about the Moebel, the experimental version had the 2cm Quad ,and the production the 37mm Flak 43. As seen in the pic.
Hmm, a quick q, could Tankdestroyer perhaps work his magic on this model too and give it a larger crew, like he did with the M15 GMC? :)
As it stands, the gun platform seems rather vacant.
I would love that, too, but TD is very busy with his RL, so no chance yet. :-/ I am more than happy if he finishes the Sturmtiger. ;)
that Flak is a Pain in the *** more than the Ostwind!
for my US Force that is...
