Description
The bitter fighting in the forests of Belgium continues. Both sides have suffered heavy losses and the offensive has lost momentum. But in the night of new years eve, the Germans have launched another counter attack, this time in Alsace-Lorraine. The target seems to be Strasbourg. Apparantly they want to relieve pressure from the Ardennes front and gain the initiative again.

Hey guys, I have a problem with this version of the mod! I´m not using the steam version cuz i don´t want to...So i'm using win8, and when I start the mode it asks for a disk verification then I click "ok", and a menssege appears " you need to instal windown 98SE / 2000 or higher"! I really don´t understand this...! I used to play all your older versions with this comp and this OS...pls help me!!!

AS always, the changelog is provided with the download. As always, the installer will uninstall a previous version, if there already is one.

be assured, there isnt. some utilities (like norton f.e.) dont seem to interprete some code of the installer correctly.
Thank You for your answer - I'll try. But next time, if there'll be next time - please, make a .rar version as well. (some of us prefer installing mods manually, also)

The antivirus is only flagging the type of compression of the installer, thus, it is detected as a generic Trojan. It doesn't mean the file is infected, it just means your antivirus is being picky.
so do I have to close my antivirus in order to make coh cotb download properly?
I can't even open the file as soon as I downloaded the new botb
you have to lower the aggressiveness/ Security settings,
otherwise it will always flag that it as malware.
If you know how to install a mod manually, I also provided it the mod in a rar archive. unzip into your CoH root folder.

nice mod as always, surely the infantry more deadly, but my tank squad scatter to hell as they start spamming with king tiger, i wish god of botb mod give me his deadly tank for my allied squad...not just scrap of some tin can. cause jackson to weak for flanking, when i tried to flank them they ambush my small flank squad. and thats it they all return in bodybag. as always i running out resource, can u double the resource point when we capture it with auto capture mode. and finally i wish some pershing and buildable super pershing or capture tiger, at least some deadly or even stronger armor for allied. i always played in stavelot
I think you will wait long time for Pershings. BotB was in 44, and there were no Pershings involved. you really need MORE armor , airstrikes or arty to fight german tanks. ;)
the M36 is in fact VERY effective. keep it in the back, use recon and some other units to distract the enemy tank(s), then finish them from the distance.

How do i install the mod in steam i looked it up in the Forum here but didnt understand it well i copied the unwaped files into my CoH Realaunched file but when i try to Launch the game inly the Video/intro Pops up .... so i could use a Little help here ^^
Perhaps as a later update, you could release some maps which take place on the other side of the Meuse? Like in Brussels, Antwerp, etc.
Hello. I have an issue, with this mod. Other mods and the normal game works perfectly. After playing about 30 minutes, my game crashes. I hear an Windows error message, then something says: The build stamp server has stopped working. It's really annoying, because the mod is really awesome.
I dont know that particular error, but normally it helps to tune down the GFX settings to avoid crashes.

I am still love play COH1 with BOB module.
But after update COH1 I find a problem, in BOB module, computer AI more stupid, no tank had made (Heavy tank factory also), is there any way to improve it? thank you.

yeh... having trouble with steam, install ok game comes up but can't see the maps in skirmish... do i have to copy the maps to a steam folder, i can see the BOTB folder with all the maps just not in game... you probably answered this already? thanks
I seem to be having problems downloading the file. It's giving me trouble just as the download completes, and I can't even select or run the installer. Is it my computer's problem or something else?
Is Halftrack still working on this mod? I think it was my favourite CoH mod, possibly second only to Blitzkrieg, but that hasn't been updated in ages either.
so i was playing this mod, and then i start the campaigne and it has the mod with it! its so cool.
I'm running BOtB V3.5 (current) on a Steam complete version of COH. The menu art for BOTB comes up and the BOTB skirmish maps are available, but I can't find the BOTB campaign. My understanding is that it replaces the Normandy campaign. Any guess where I've gone wrong?

Like any other mod I know it is a skirmish mod.
I stand corrected. It was implied in the general description of the mod:
"It converts the Summer/Normandy Scenario of CoH into a winter scenario along with winter Maps, Skins and units."
I believe the Modern Combat mod is a full campaign, and thought this was likewise. My whatever.
