Dear friends! We have made it. Battle of Empires 1914-1918 has been Greenlit by the Community!
Battle of Empires on Steam Greenlight

Thanks to your support our game managed to pass the Greenlight in less than a month. During that period, our game was visited by 23,278 people and got 8,803 "yes" votes (57% of total 15,575 votes). It took just one week to reach top100 and two weeks to reach top10. The day before Steam has announced that our project was greenlit, we were on the 5th place out of all games!

Right now Best Way company is doing all the necessary paperwork to sing an agreement with Steam. And our team is making hard work to finish demo version and prepare the game for its release.

 Hurraa!

god damn it you people are so stupid. this has been planned to be released as a game with its own price for YEARS.

You are all complaining that it is a mod turned into a game and should be free since it is a mod.

That is like saying every game ever released on source is a mod of Half-Life 2.

That is like saying all the MoW games are just mods of Faces of War.

Shut up and pay for it

well they should of thought paying for 3 different campaigns would be stupid i mean like i sounds like they want money because i am not paying £ 10-15 for one campaign and what ****** me of the most was the Gem editor will be in the third campaign so you have to buy all the campaigns just to get the editor which i mostly use men of war for. I ma sorry but what they should do is make it in to one big game and sell it for £20 thats what and make small expansions along the way. They are going to lose money.

Let me check it for you, lazy-***:
'‘Battle of Empires: France’ will come first. It will feature full singleplayer, mission editor and LAN cooperative multiplayer. A bit later after the release we will make a free Beta test of multiplayer and cooperative multiplayer through the Internet. '

Im going to tell u guys what is the truth and what going to happen , MY OPINION : I dont care if u going to vote this as a bury comment

My english is quick bad

- U gonna get very disappointed that u need to buy every part of the game ( Campaigns ) rather than buying a full game ... DLC shiit ??
- U gonna wait 3 - 6 more months ( Which is b u l l s h i t ) or worse wait for another year for the game to be release ( Developer you are drunk )
- Oh yes i see a lot of complains in the comment section which is totally true :D
- The developer ( P R I C K ) Doesnt even know what is the different between a mod and a game :D Ended up to be torturing us to pay for a mod which is actually FREE
- This devil developer dont even know what values is ! I guess he didnt remembered it when he was in school days :D This what happen when someone doesn't have values ! U guys should not follow like this devil ! LOLOLOLOL

Firstly I wish to address all the issues you raised. But firstly I must ask you to stop insulting these developers, you talk of standards yet it seems like you pride yourself in insulting others (Who are in fact working on a project for you). But now…
1)I personally agree, the game should be in one whole purchase. ANd if enough people complain the developers will realise their mistake
2)If you wish to have the game now, then what you'd get is a buggy (Almost solid game) with too many quirks, which do in fact take away from the experience thus rendering you with an overhyped mess
3)Ok then
4)Why the insult, absolutely no need, at the least you should be thanking said developers for putting vast amounts of their time and resources into this master piece. And trust me when i say this, this game is no mod. I personally have had the opportunity to experience gameplay and this my friend is a 'total conversion'. (Also you should congratulate the developers for managing to attract the original developers of the vanilla game into funding this magnificent project.
5)I already addressed this

If you have other complaints feel free to speak your mind and place them in the comment section :)

It just doesn't seem right to charge money for a MOD of an existing game a company made, especially considering that other mods of the same quality and even more time dedicated are still free. Most modders are in at as a hobby or a means to get ready for pursuing a game development career, or both. But this seems to be a business venture. It also doesn't really seem right to make a promise of a free mod for years and then, towards the very end of development, decide to charge money.

So it's the 100 year anniversary of WW1's beginning and you still do not release the game, the demo or even any news? Disgusting. Looks like this is never coming out.
