Bananasauros is a Total Conversion of Commander Keen about a dinosaur who has to explore the world and save his friends from the bananasauros-eating menace known as the australopithecines. This mod is packed with 18 bright and colorful levels of prehistoric fun and an overhead map to explore the world in a non-linear fashion. Recommended for those who enjoy classic dos platformers of the apogee era, and it was made easily accessible for those who are new to Dos gaming.

Description
Bananasauros is a platformer that is a total conversion of Commander Keen: Marooned on Mars. Painstaking effort has been put into perfecting the difficulty and stomping bugs to ensure the gameplay is a fun experience.
Take on the role of Bananasauros: a dinosaur whose family has been kidnapped by creatures called Australopithecines, and his job is to explore the world to find and rescue them. Defeat your foes with fire seeds, or get around them and other hazards by jumping over them with the aid of the Spring-Beanosaur. Explore jungles, deserts, mountains and caves while collecting leaves, flowers, bananas, and other collectibles to boost your score and gain lives. Bananasauros comes bundled with DOSbox and 21 imf music tracks for background music. Recommended for fans of DOS platformers and as an introduction for anyone new to the genre.
