Both comrades have now their statues in the custom map by Taintxs. I added the Lenin's statue because I thought it would be a nice touch. The original map had only the Stalin there.

btw: is this the only new sp map planned or is there more of them?
The plan is to include all custom SP maps that were in WCP2.91 plus this map on picture ("redsquaremassacre").
It would be cool be playing with germans in a well made map like this with back2fronts content, the german mods replace only uniforms and some vehicles, it's weird when you play as german and your comrade sais "die, you dirty jerry" with british accent xD
Yes, I also hope that more custom maps were added to the mod, so we could play a custom campaign from the German side. Sadly, the German Front Mod was never able to accomplish that mission, and it costed its life :-(
Now, back to the picture itself, it looks really great. Now you should add a statue of Trotsky as well. No, wait.... XD
Sadly Triby seem to gave up the work. So "redsquaremassacre" is the only SP map for German side now.
I will check the "sealion" map in future but I don't like it very much. It's not as good as "redsquaremassacre".
What a pity he gave up...
If i knew how to mod i would make an oustanding german mod, On it I would put some new tanks, like T34; new stationary machine guns, like vickers/maxim and new armoured cars for allies :D
Sadly Activision won't return to ww2 theme, and most of the games show only the winner's side of war
Oh, no, that's a shame! We really wanted for new SP missions from the German side, and Triby's work in the Spanish mod was so perfect :-(
About the map Sealion, I agree. It's a good mission (in my opinion) but not nearly as good as Red Square Massacre (wich is probably the best custom SP mission ever made for CoD2). Perhaps you could edit the Sealion mission and change the first part, so instead of landidng in England, the Germans fight in France (the map itself is very similar to Narmandy after all).
But again, that would only make one mission in France. Personally, I would prefer to see a whole German campaign (perhaps 4-5 missions) set completly in Russia. Perhaps Taintxs or some other skilled modder could do that in the future, after the mod is released.
Yeah, I know. I wanted some new German maps too. But sadly, I don't know how to map. And even if I knew I wouldn't have time fot it. Taintxs worked several months on each of his SP maps.
