Description
I created additional helmets for greater variety - 2 steel helmets and 2 cloth-covered helmets. Textures were made by me and War_Crimes.

Personally, my favourite Fallshirmjäger helmet. Although all of them look great, of course, but I think this is the best one.
My favourite is the Splinter B camo one. I put powerful normal maps on these and it looks kinda cool ingame :-D
Btw, have you tryed them yet?

they look great, but tri-color shields were omitted in 1940,
cod2 in normandy takes place in 1944.
Ofc plenty of helmets had duel decals til the end of the war,
but i think helmets with just the flying eagle were more common.
Well, I can add the eagle to the plain helmet which has no insignia...
If I am not mistaken, the national tricolor (officially) disappeared in 1940 (as you said). Then the eagles were omitted as well (I am not entirely sure but I think it was 1942).
i think it was in 1943 they stopped adding decals altogether.
but that would only apply to new helmets made in 1943, so blank helmets would be somewhat rare.
Could be. It is quite a long time since I last read an Osprey book.
