Back to the Future: Hill Valley is a full conversion mod for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Back to the Future: Hill Valley will be based on the Back to the Future Trilogy, allowing the player to re-enact all the great moments from the films. While some parts of the story are stretched to make it more enjoyable, we are determined not to stray too far from the original story-line. The people behind this mod want the community to relive the movies and have as much fun in the process as possible. Okay... I got Kitt into the game (didn't crash when it loaded), installed the wheel mod, I copied the main.scm and everything. However, I can't seem to spawn KITT. I checked the main.scm. Everything looks like it's there... Am I missing something?

i installed that mod (kitt in single player) and kitt doesnt jump. And when i choose a weapon, taxi missions turn on and it doesnt show laser, micro jam or rocketlauncher, maybe its because the american.gxt file is not in the zip file, but i can still use the weapons.

Well I feel like an idiot...

[x] Install wheel mod.
[x] Replace code in handle.cfg
[x] Replace code in default.ide
[x] Replace Zebra files in gta.img
[x] Replace main.scm
[x] Start new game

Still no KITT. What am I missing here?

All right. Did some process of elimination here. I have three Vice City installations: Single Player, BttF mod, and an unaltered backup installation.

I installed your KITT Single Player into the BttF installation, and whaddaya know? It works perfectly (minus the Taxi missions and lack of Turbo Boost). There's something missing from the fresh installation, and I'm not at all sure what.
