Hey all. I'm new here, just discovered this mod. I'm a big fan of the films and have been looking for a Bttf mod for ages. I never thought I would find something like this.

Anyway, I just have one question. What actually is "K.I.T.T."? People all over the forum keep talking about it and it's also a heading in the readme file, under which it mentions lasers and rocket launchers etc. But I have no idea what it is? I don't remember the DeLorean having rocket launchers lol.

The Black modified Pontiac Firebird Trans-American. Modified to have human-like intellect and a few great gadgets.

Just Trans-Am, not Trans-American.

KITT is not a delorean.

Aug 12 2007, 1:23pm Anchor

He probably saw my "Silver KR" vid.

Aug 12 2007, 1:34pm Anchor

I know KITT is not a DeLorean, I thought it was some kind of control system. What's your Silver KR video about? Never heard of it.

Anyway thanks for telling me. I know what KITT is now, but it won't be in the final version right?

You have a problem with kitt?

Aug 12 2007, 3:02pm Anchor

Why would I waste time adding KITT and all his features and not have him in the final version?

Aug 12 2007, 3:28pm Anchor

True good point. I thought it may have been just a little in-joke in the developmental stages.

No, no problem, he just doesn't fit in with the movies. But I guess it won't really matter he'll just be like an easter-egg car I guess that you can find somewhere (most likely in 2015) with no purpose in the story. Anyway, thanks for clearing that up Delorean. This can be locked now since my question has been answered.

it was a show in the early 80's (1982-1985) so he will be in 1985. i though seeing as the series ended in 1985, maybe we could make it like FLAG (the company that KITT and Michael work for) are selling KITT and he would be a purchasable asset. complete with the FLAG semi as a garage for KITT and missions as well

of course the semi would be a map object, not drivable

Edited by (in order): KITT, KITT

it sounds good!

Aug 13 2007, 9:13am Anchor

i thought they worked for knight industries

Aug 13 2007, 10:36am Anchor

it doesnt really explain that but im guessing FLAG is a subsidiary of Knight Industries or vice versa

If you really wonder what "Silver KR" is, I tell you, you can be disappointed. Like KITT was, and my 54 subscribers. (There were only 30 that time) I warned you.

Aug 13 2007, 2:27pm Anchor

Oh, and pay attention to the comments, that's something that will crack you up.

Aug 13 2007, 3:13pm Anchor
