hey delorean, i only want to fix that 1955 "problem" you forgot to remove, making it a permanent choice among the years available, and i need to fix the hour: marty travelled back to 06.15 am, not 12.15 am!

u know 4 the the time circuits can u type the numbers in except the months of course example:

november id have to scroll but 05 1955 id hv to type on the numbers on the keyboard????? that would be cool

Aug 16 2007, 9:37pm Anchor

well they're already using those buttons for other features.

EDIT: No, we're just not allowed to use them because Vice City doesn't use them.

ok thanks anyway

Aug 17 2007, 10:44am Anchor

they're using the NUMPAD numbers, but not those numbers above the letters in the keyboard. Maybe there's another reason: if we type the numbers by the keyboard, we could insert any year from 0 to 9999...instead the years you can travel to are only 5.

Aug 17 2007, 2:17pm Anchor

oh sorry didn't know which numbers you were talking about

Can anyone tell me how to fix the little bug mentioned above without posting the code? Just tell me where can i find the "year" section in main.scm

Aug 18 2007, 9:04am Anchor

Umm, good luck finding out how. Unlike the other code, finding that is a bit harder, especially when you don't have the source code. I have no hints for you other than look for it.

ok ok..i'll wait until the next release comes out...

i cant belive everyone is sooooo stupid..
just kidding heres the code..
00D6: if 0
0038: $37C == 3 ;; integer values
004D: jump_if_false ££Label024A20
0008: $86 += 30 ;; integer values
00D6: if 0
0018: $86 > 2015 ;; integer values
004D: jump_if_false ££Label024B04
0004: $86 = 1885 ;; integer values
0002: jump ££Label024B04
Changing Guide!
search for: :Label0249E5
and then change the 2015 to you max year
and 1985 to your min year mine is set to 1885 its so easy and oh yeah the year jump
0008: $86 += 30 ;; integer values
change the 30 to how many years you want it to change e.g 1955 - 1985 - 2015 would be every 30 years..
there you go hope it helps!

Aug 21 2007, 5:09pm Anchor

i don't have a brain! lol but yeah i'm horrible at this stuff. if you could can you give me a code to go thru 1955 - 2015. all the years! i know this is a little excessive but i really want those years. please send code and instructions thanx.

Aug 21 2007, 5:12pm Anchor

me too pm me for e-mail

Aug 21 2007, 5:18pm Anchor

o shnikes! i just read the full post of ur code nevermind bout sending it! :P i kinda rushed in the excitement of getting more years. my bad. but yeah if i wanted all the years i just change the integer value to 0, correct?

Aug 21 2007, 5:32pm Anchor

well yeah i guess... but if you wanted to get to 1955, 1985 or 2015 good luck youd be waiting a while
and for everyone else who wants the years 1885 - 2015 (youd get extra years too!)
so here it is..

EDIT by delorean88us: HEY, I already said, don't post code up. oh sorry delorean i didnt see that oh well people who want it add my msn shown below

it always starts as 1955.. but dont worry about that if you want to change the starting year search for 1955 and change it
and to install this code just find *EDIT* and delete it then replace with the other *EDIT* shown above
things needed: Vice Mission Builder, Vice City, Gta BTTF Mod (last two cuz of the brainless dummys)
lol it took me 30 seconds to figure all this out btw if you are so thick that you cant do it still... just add me on msn
is my gift to the thickos out there
and if you dont have msn either get one or dont email me just simply use what is above or post here..

if you change to 0...good luck getting back to 2015. Even if the 30 year skipping worked (we all know 2015 isn't divisble by 30), you have to hold down the button and have it change for almost 700 times. Good luck waiting that long. Frankly speaking, I don't know whats the big deal at the moment, as it's just a number. I only had two years to have those changes in the buildings, and to highlight the no-mr.fusion-in-20th-century thing, and to see if it actually works. But, eh. Just don't post code up and I'll be happy.

Aug 21 2007, 10:58pm Anchor

Aug 21 2007, 10:59pm Anchor

ull kick a cops ass then be sent to jail.

Aug 21 2007, 11:01pm Anchor

i didn't say i was the one who was gonna kick your ass either.

Aug 22 2007, 4:16am Anchor
