Back to the Future: Hill Valley is a full conversion mod for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Back to the Future: Hill Valley will be based on the Back to the Future Trilogy, allowing the player to re-enact all the great moments from the films. While some parts of the story are stretched to make it more enjoyable, we are determined not to stray too far from the original story-line. The people behind this mod want the community to relive the movies and have as much fun in the process as possible. With the outstanding game play of the Sandbox hit, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, in combination with one of the best movies of all time, Back to the Future, this mod is sure to bring countless hours of fun to anybody who enjoyed the movies.

It takes centuries for the actual terrain to deform, so little danger of ending in hills. And we'll make sure to add some stuff that will make it impossible to appear in buildings, whether it be a trailer here or something there.

Maybe there could be a mention of the IFT on a 2015 radio station, I get the impression the ride is set in the 1990s/present, years after Doc's adventures in the films. I agree it would be cool to show it, but it wouldn't fit, at least not in 1985. I do miss the ride and agree that it deserves a tribute of some kind :(

I heard the ride was going to be shut down, but I didnt know when it was going to happen. Have they already taken it out of service? I was planning a trip to Universal this summer just so I could ride it one more time. I havent been to it since about 12 years ago when I was 7.

It was closed down March 30th in Florida, but it's still running in Hollywood until around September I believe, personally it was my favorite ride there, and riding the ride that first time when I was 13 is what made me check out the movies and become a fan :)

It really sucks to see the Ride getting shut down everywhere. But I've definitely rode it quite a bit over the past 10 or so years. I actually just got to go on it in US Hollywood this past summer and it was starting to show its age. I was hoping they would revise the ride and make cars a bit smoother rather than just shutting down the ride completely, but I knew that was a longshot. Heres hoping I can make it down to LA for one last ride before September!

it shut down in orlando on the 30th. Hollywood shuts down September. Japan hasn't announced yet.

Its an old, and commonly used method. You make a flat plane. Take blueprints of the building, (if your lucky enough to have them.) and make a texture out of it. Place the Texture onto the flat plane, and you now have an ingame picture that you can model from. Just build blocks ontop of the texture to match the walls from the blueprints. repeat for 2nd and 3rd story.

For something as large as a town, i did the same thing, i modeled it from an existing small town.

1986 and 1987 will cease to exist in 0.2c....., unless you time travel to dec 31, 1985, but then you'lll need to wait a year for 1987 to come
