Nice...wonder how i missed this topic. What year is it? |

80 is what they used to be.. and who the heck would buy a "fake" delorean, not built in ireland? |
||
May 15 2007 Anchor | ||
its a 81 with grey interior. perfect delorean all original from ireland. he just got new tires yesterday the tires that came with it were from 1981, lol |
||
May 15 2007 Anchor | ||
nope, they were never 80k. That was the gold delorean, which would have run around 85k if it actually went into production. And i have no clue what you mean by "fake." If you call parts made in ireland and put together two decades later in the us fake, i am seriously lost. Edited by: Delorean88us |

not what i meant, the cars built in 1981-83 were built in ireland, which means they are original. Taking parts and slapping them on some other frame is not original. You get what im sayin? I dont mean fake as in FAKE like not real, i mean its lost its sentimental value, if u keep thinking "this wasn't built in ireland". Edited by: Knighthawk22 |

I could care less of where it's built. Do you honestly believe location of where the car built affects it's looks? Yes, it doesn't hold the same value as the original 1981-83 deloreans, but you shouldn't start bashing dmc of texas, for if you live in america, they have all the spare parts you need in case something breaks down. Also, do you have any idea of the condition of many deloreans? Have you seen totally destroyed deloreans? What they are trying to do is rebuild them. I think you'd agree with me that a totally burned down delorean with missing parts has waaaaaaaay less sentimental value than a refurbished delorean. Not saying that I'd rather get a refurbished delorean, but I'm saying that these guys deserve more credit than what you're giving them. Edited by: Delorean88us |

I've wanted a DeLorean ever since I was a little kid. I still do, but its probably not the wisest of investments at this point and time. Hopefully sometime down the line, I will have a little extra cash to get one. |

That damage over the headlight is like the time delorean had after hitting the cinema! |
||
May 15 2007 Anchor | ||
In bttf 3 country club scene, when they show car's headlights, one is damaged like your bro's car! |
||
May 15 2007 Anchor | ||
ive seen that on a lot of deloreans. maybe its meant to be like that |

Just your basic refurbished DeLorean with no extra bells or whistles will cost you $42,500 from DMC. A really tricked out DeLorean (high performance engine, enhanced suspension, sound system, a spedometer that can actually go up to 88mph, etc.) is roughly $56,000. I hope they dont run out of parts within the next 5-10 years, because i really do plan on saving up to buy one. Ever since I first saw BttF when I was a little kid I have wanted a DeLorean. I figure if I'm going to get one, I might as well go all they way and get the absolute best DeLorean money can buy. |

There are many delorean conversions, i have even seen a hovering delorean. I sometimes have mind exhausts when i start drawing other dmcs. Cabrios, offroaders, bikes, boats and even helis. |
