Back to the Future: Hill Valley is a full conversion mod for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Back to the Future: Hill Valley will be based on the Back to the Future Trilogy, allowing the player to re-enact all the great moments from the films. While some parts of the story are stretched to make it more enjoyable, we are determined not to stray too far from the original story-line. The people behind this mod want the community to relive the movies and have as much fun in the process as possible. Ok so im having a problem that maybe someone on here can help me with. Ive got Griffs bat in game and i replaced it with the vice city bat. well when i go to the tool shop right when i start the game its not in the correct position nor the right size. but if i start a new game and do the thugtools cheat it appears correct while holding it then once i go to the tool shop its the right way and size.

now if i dont do the cheat and get the messed up model is all wrong when i hold it... the only way i was able to fix the problem at the moment was to replace it with the golfclub or any other item that doesn't appear in a shop. Is there a way i can fix this

alwell, we can leave it as the golf club it still looks fine and you still swing it like a bat anyway.

Sorry to say about animations again but you could change machete animations to bat animations too, so it wouldn't make the sounds and such.. And you wouldn't have to do new animations for it, everything just with notepad. I only have problems exporting the animation, everything else is fine.. :(

and i know the scene takes place in 1955, but Marty is actually playing a Gibson 1963 ES-345TD ... it was a goof from the producers most people wouldn't actually know the year of that exact guitar.

You first make a DFF file then use IMG tool which you can download at www.gtagarage.com or other places then replace an existing dff with your new dff file.

the bat looks simple and it basically is not much i could do with it to make it look unique or cool but it works nonetheless and i tried my hardest on docs sniper... its just so hard because its hard to get a full screen shot of his sniper and its a knock off of a 1865 Winchester but for the movie it has added gold plating extended barrel and telescope so I tried to get it as close to the movie as possible

Lol yeah it was faster than i thought it would take me to finish the list you gave me delorean... personally i thought it would take more than a week but only took what like 2 days. Got one more on your list - Colt Peace Maker and that one should hopefully be done within the next 2 days or so

Just wanted to see what you guys think... I changed the Sniper Scope to more resemble what the scope at the end of docs sniper looks like and i also changed the weapon icon on the hud to the appropriate image and a different color

Well why would i need to make the ak-47 when its already in game? And i just got a list from delorean saying what to make so i didn't even think about what gun biff had.

the gun in the game isnt an ak-47, its a Ruger Mini-14

Oh well i saw a ak-47 dff file in my img tool so i thought it was in game i couldn't remember....

what do you guys think of the icons on the hud... because if i need to change them i need to stop making them for the rest of the weapons.

And everything in the game is getting replaced, or not exactly everything but it's a total conversion, the map is changed, nothing old left, pedestrians changed, weapons changed, missions changed, etc. That rifle is awesome, you've modeled those pretty fast too, maybe we have all needed at 0.3 :) BTW where in the movie is an AK? Or are you just adding it for fun
