for the first time travel experiment, how did doc manage to send einstein exactly one minute further in time since he's gotta input the exact time he wants the delorean to re-appear? another detail kinda like that: there's 60 different seconds while it's 10:04 on the clock, i could they know that it was striking at exactly 10:04:00?

He just calculated the input time. Plus he was trying to hurry Marty up so its obvisous he had already put in the time. I had always wondered about the clock tower scene. Maybe there was some kind of mini clock system inside of the tower like a clock that tells the seconds and it stops when the big clock stops so they would be able to tell what second it stopped so they knew the exact time in 1985.

i also wondered when their doin the time expiriment in the car and doc flipped the little red switch and the car wouldnt move, why couldnt they just do that up to 88mph in one spot when the clock struck 10:04pm?

What i meant was how could he input the machine so it would travel for example from 01:18:32 to 01:19:32 exactly? he could have input 01:21:00 manually (still there's no input for the seconds tho!), but how could he know then that the delorean would hit 88mph at exactly 01:20:00? he was even surprised and happy about that in the movie. and he clearly says that he sent einstein 1 minute in the future. that's regardless of the time of departure.

man i thought the same thing for a long time, but then i figured right, marty didn't bring the remote with him in 1955!

Well it would all kind of takes the fun out of it. It's like in Bttf 3, why couldn't they just wait for when the train comes again the next day, rather than being in such a hurry to beat Buford. The argument is it would just take the fun out of it.
