Hoverboard Thread - Back to the Future: Hill Valley mod for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

Just wondering, are you going to be making the hoverboard into a vehicle? And will it follow the rule of not being able to move over water? And once you obtain it, it would be cool to be able to take it back with you in the DeLorean to other years and use it whenever you please.

hmm. well the hoverboard will be a drivable vehicle. and since bikes cant drive on water, yes it will follow that rule. but it will sink. you will die. and delorean should be able to answer that last Q.

Are you going to make a pitbull as well? If you do, maybe it could work on water using the code from the drive on water cheat

you cant make the pitbull because theres no more bikes left pizzaboy and faggio are the skate board and hover board and the freeways are needed for 1985A

Actually you forgot about the PCJ600 that could be used for the pitbull.

yea your right but it will be miles faster than the othere ones

Not if you configure the handling file so that it goes the same speed. It should be a little faster however because it has those mini jets.

but then again its the pitbull with booster rockets so it should go a bit faster

and there's something wrong with that. I mean it's only used once during that single chase scene.

yeah and like that guy said a while ago you can add the cars float code to make it able to go over water

that should work, though I've never tried it with the bikes before but I'm sure there's a way around that if the code doesn't work with them.

and have you thought about the charcter thay cant swim so for that hoverboard chase sean where he jumps into the water he will drown

well I'm not really too sure what to do about that part. As far as I can see the only way to get out is by using the jetpack code on a trainer. Unless there's a way to bring the swimming code in from SA. Or the pond can just be shallow enough so the character doesn't drown.

i have a vc trainer with the jetpack code i once jumped in with the inf helth cheat on and he slowly sank without drowning or you could add a invisable platform so that when he jumps of he will stand on it and look as if hes floating

I think that platform idea is probably the best way t go, that way there's less stress on figuring out a way to make the character swim.

the PCJ might work for the pitbull, did I don't think it would look right with the way Tommy sits on it, and I don't think editing animations like that is possible. For the pond infront of the clocktower I think it should be like the swimming pools in VC, those aren't very deep

the fagio will be both the pitbull and the hoverboard. ever heard of extras? the pitbull will cover the normal hoverboard.

yeah but i think it should be the pcj because it would be easier but the way he stands on it will be strange
