Lol, maybe I have an overactive imagination or something, but I played the following game with this mod today: I started a new game, made the BTTF1 Delorean, went back to Nov 5, 1955, 6:00AM while escaping from the terrorists, and when I got to the new time I hid the Delorean in the boathouse at the docks. I pretended to take out fifties clothes and money from the car, then I got out and went to explore the city. I walked around and stole a taxi, and drove around with that, imagining that the taxi driver is driving. Then I went to Ocean View Hotel, and got a room there. I stayed in 1955 for 9 days, and when I couldn't think of anything interesting to do, I fast-forwarded time to 23:59 with a cheat code, so it would normally change to 0:00 and the calendar of the time circuits would recognize it as a new day. During the 9 days I played that I became friends with a group of teenagers who also stayed at the hotel, and I played that we went to the beach and around the city etc... Has anyone played anything like this with the mod? |

Maybe not to that extent, but i pretend to be one a time traveling journey while running from some unknown pursuer (the cops) and the Lybians. Not as much fun but yeah. |

Yeah, I like to imagine scenarios like that to give me something to do in the mod too. I do it alot in Oblivion too. Works well with any open world game. |

well, that was quite detailed! i sorta try to re-act scenes, for example a favourite is going to the future Oct 21 2015, in the flying delorean, then trying to land the delorean in a side or back alley as the film does, before they set out to change the future of marty's son etc. then at some point i will get in trouble then go back to the hidden delorean and return to 1985. |

i just do whatever, get cops, fly around. Cops and lybians are like the only things that keep this mod interesting, which is kinda sad. |

how do you get them to follow you? |

I like to do what I call "Stunt Time Traveling". I use a trainer that has a speed modification so the DeLorean can act like KITT in Super Pursuit Mode. Then I'll drive up a jump, hit the speed button which makes you instantly travel through time, then when you re-enter its all in slow-mo for the jump. My particular favorite jump is the one that you have to use the BttF 2 DeLorean for. I fly into the office building with the window you can bust through. Next, I get out of the DeLorean, go down the elevator, and go back up the elevator to get the glass back. Then I set the time circuits and hit the speed button to travel through time. If you do it just right, it creates an awesome effect as you re-enter, smashing through the window and landing on the 2nd building in slow-mo. Edited by: Spykes1984 |

flying around and trying to master the delorean's handling does it for me! i mean, i've been hoping to drive the delorean in a 3D environment since 1995 so this mod is like a dream come true to me. next step is to get an actual delorean.... nice stunt to do by the way spykes1984 has anyone tried the "chain time travelling" with the train yet? fill up mr. fusion in the delo, then get in the train and fly up to 88mph. then just keep on going and you'll time travel again! gets boring tho... |

Thank you, I worked pretty hard to make it accurate. I had to get rid of a lot of the book burning music that's why the music is kinda jumpy, but the natural effect of VC lighting worked out great. It's really cool if you watch that part of the back2 with it. most of the screen shots are the same. if you like that vid check out my other ones. www.myspace.com/shanelohre Edited by (in order): BACKINTIME, BACKINTIME, BACKINTIME |

hey, backintime, do you make your own bttf skins or what? |
||

He has a talent for it, only faces were left. |

I can reskin pretty well, the problem is you can't be real picky because a lot of parts of a skin have shared attributes. what I mean by that is, (for example) the back of tommy mirrors the front limiting the amount of options for one to change it. so that sucks. But now with mag-got taking on the task of character modeling that will eliminate any problems with skins. I look forward to seeing his stuff. on the contrary, and not to take anything away from him or his abilities, I don't believe that he alone will be able to model all the peds single handedly, (because there's something like a hundred of these. or more). I have been looking into and testing serveral clothing options for already estisting peds. We'll see how it turns out and untimately what the cheif thinks. hense (Delorean88us) |

They can be temp, but face it. None of the faces resemble mjf's. We're still going to make a new model, and we're not using gta models for that. |

yes, agreed to the fullest. The ones I have been looking at mainly are the women in fine clothes with hats. I don't know txd names of hand. But yeah for the most part over 99% would never work, "unless we got one of them shirts off of the dead hispanic" lol |

I know theses models will be the best they can be. I look forward to seeing them in action. |

Good video BACKINTIME, it inspired me to play another game, in which I'm originally from 2015, but lightning strikes me above Vice City, and I crash land in JAN 01, 1985 12:00AM, and I have to repair the time circuits that have been shorted out by the lightning, with 80's technology, while trying to get a job and someplace to live. With this mod and imagination the possibilities are really endless. |

pretty cool vid. If you only knew how to script, you could make it even more believable. Thats how i made my vid. My god, that took forever. Over 200 takes, just to get it exact or close to exact (well, not pixel for pixel). |

i do like doc lives in 2015 and he takes plutinum (mispelled) from the lybans and they shoot him down and the time machine loses controll and doc ends up in 1985 and the flux is broken and mr.fusion is shorted out its really cool Edited by: hscitpe |

What is really funny, is that how I simulated the whole "lighting strikes the Delorean" thing. I flew around in circles above Washington Beach setting the time circuits to JAN 1 1985 12:00 AM, then pressing forward and backward the same time so the Delorean would switch to flying mode and it would begin to fall down, and when the speed of the falling rose above 80 MPH and the car started shooting sparks, I made a KRSSSSS KRSSSSS KRSSS sound like when lightining strikes the Delorean and engulfs it, then it dissappeared, and when it reappeared in '85, i quickly pressed NUM 6 without pressing forward, so it would be like the "emergency landing system" which probably saved Doc from falling to his death when he arrived in 1885. |

I was in 1955 and I tried to re-enact the clocktower scene with Doc using the remote control to be Marty. I accidentally sent the DeLorean to 1985. Gah I'm an idiot |

Brings a good question. What happens if you're in 1955/1885 and your delorean explodes |
