yes, but the center won't unfortunately be able to move. Only that little north thing.

new installer time

May 14 2007, 11:44pm Anchor

Really? And remember the compas, that was installed into delorean? You can clearly see it in bttf 1, when camera closes up to time-circuit and in bttf 3 when delorean is about to go to the future. Sorry if it was discussed before.

Umm, it really has nothing to do with what we are talking about other than the word compass.

wheel lights should be activated, and thats not our feature. It was part of the original model. Unfortunately, it's just a texture and not a light. Should be easy to spot in the txd archive, being green and all.

bitmap. Well, considering the original creator is working on it for us, I'd say yes.

May 15 2007, 1:05am Anchor

nope. Carlos EGL. He took cars made by Yuri Antipin, put bttf parts on it for NFS3, Got converted to NFS4, and Phil and Silver007 converted it to GTAVC. Carlos is back working on improvements for it, as you have seen.

oh no, we're not done with them yet. Still gotta edit them.

Vehicles will be running on fuel, right?(though i don't understand how the flying conversion worked) But Kitt had no fuel tank! Powerpacks?

May 18 2007, 12:13am Anchor

I guess.

And I really doubt hover conversions run on gas. Look at the hoverboard. It just needs a way to move.

May 18 2007, 8:52am Anchor

But TEXACO robot said something like "fuel tank: check"

yes. the engine need fuel. not necessarily the hover system

May 18 2007, 9:45am Anchor

Which is a duh. The hoverboard could float, but needs someone to make it move. Same with cars. It can float, but the engine is needed to make it actually move.

Perhaps all future cars have a Mr. Fusion that powers the hover systems? Don't implement that in the mod though, that would just be tedious and annoying.

May 19 2007, 2:46am Anchor

Mr. Fusion powers the time circuits. Hover circuits don't need 1.21 jiggawatts of electricity to run. Look at the hoverboard. I bet it runs off of normal AA batteries.

May 19 2007, 3:15am Anchor

We don't know anything about the future power sources. So I suggest they do run on batteries, but maybe they don't need ones, If magnets were really split to positive and negative polars, anything can float without power.

How's this for a new feature for 0.2c. With the libyan vw van finished, I think it's time to test to see if human turrets work or not for that chase scene. Note, this will be a beta only feature unless tons of people want it for the full version.

Thinking of instead of having 6 places where plutonium can be found, I'm putting at one location where it can attract libyan attention and force them to chase you. As for invulnerabilities, I will be disabling them all except for collision. Should make it a bit more fun, because face it. Invincibility gets boring after a while. Trying to escape with your life should prove to be more fun. Still debating on whether to make the tires pop-proof or not. So, once I get K's models, I'll start working on it.
