Back to the Future: Hill Valley is a full conversion mod for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Back to the Future: Hill Valley will be based on the Back to the Future Trilogy, allowing the player to re-enact all the great moments from the films. While some parts of the story are stretched to make it more enjoyable, we are determined not to stray too far from the original story-line. Glad you guys are liking the BMW, the car should be completed early next month. I'm not going to have much more time to work on it as college work is going to take up the bulk of my time in the next few weeks.

Alright I've had a little time on my hands since most of my teachers have canceled classes for various reasons. I did manage to get the car in the game and everything works fine, just need to move some dummies around and finish building the TXD file. But this is bugging me, I can't seem to get the dummies to be invisible. If anyone can help me fix this please tell me.

You can see the dummy problem I'm talking about in this pic.

When i did the train, i just hijacked dummies from other cars. Not too hard, just get the coordinates and position, then reorder the heirarchy. Dummies should appear to be green wireframe boxes for gta cars.

hey K, next you have a choice between biff's 46' ford convertible and doc's 47' packard clipper. we need to get those done first for the 1955 hill valley release. which will probably be a while, but just in case.

Yeah, the case came out better in the original vid.

I'll go with Biff's Ford next then. I'll probably be able to get those done quicker when I don't have school to worry about. I'll go with the manure truck after that since I can probably use most of the Yankee's chassis. After that I'll tackle Doc's car.

Ok, I was looking at the small dummy problem that was shown in my preview. I found out that it only happens when the car is damage proof and is saved in any garage. As far as I know it doesn't affect the game at all and you just need to walk back out of the garage and close the door and it fixes itself.

hey k, i found this. its a 47 ford convertible. slightly different from the 46 but the only real difference it that the 46 doesnt have those indicators below the headlights. should serve as a good base anyway

Thanks for the pic this really helped me out. There is also one more key difference the nose of the car protrudes more in the '47 vs the '46.

Yeah, I noticed it after I took a look at pictures of the 46 but the rest of the body style is the same. I'll have to check that website out, I usually go off of pictures. Having the actual blue prints for cars will help me with my models.

Yeah I noticed that too, after I was done with the car. I'll update the texture with them when I get to texturing Biff's car.
