Don't worry, I know him too, so no big deal. Besides, it's not like i haven't made videos......i just haven't posted them on youtube.

on the topic of cars, i'm also updating the delorean models. Ever notice the right side was missing 2 blue capacitor cans and 2 smaller capacitor cans?
Blue Capacitor Cans
Just blue, i'll work on the 2 smaller ones later. And I need to find out how to flatten the top of those cans...

tomorrow i will demonstrate the rc delorean and post it on youtube

Apr 12 2007, 10:14am Anchor

be aware, that the rc delorean is using the old code. I already scrapped it because of problems arising when I added some more stuff.

The delorean's been updated more. I flattened out the top of the cans and i'm going to fix those hockey pucks on the left side of the car below the red capacitor cans.

So much detailes  I'd like not to discuss 1885 right now, but switch more to future and present vehicles.

Apr 12 2007, 1:16pm Anchor

which is what i did..delorean updates.

Apr 12 2007, 2:40pm Anchor

anyone think i should change the way the flux bands are colored?

Apr 12 2007, 3:49pm Anchor

More updates on the back deck. Added two capacitor cans behind the blue ones and fixed those hockey puck things under the red capacitors. Also flattened the top of the capacitor cans.
Updated Rear Deck for the Delorean

those delorean models are looking good keep it up :)

Apr 12 2007, 4:05pm Anchor

updated all the deloreans to what is seen up there. Not happy with the coloring for the rear two cans on the passenger side, might play around with it later

its funny that i never realized those blue cans before i have loads of pictures of the delorean from almost every angle in my room.

Apr 12 2007, 4:17pm Anchor

well, it's there now.

Apr 12 2007, 4:35pm Anchor

will there be any changes on the time train or are you gonna leave it?

Apr 12 2007, 4:43pm Anchor

I'm leaving it alone. I don't know too much about the train compared to the delorean, so no chances. Besides, it's big in polygons already, no need to add anymore.

Apr 12 2007, 5:06pm Anchor

dunno if this could work but its just a suggestion. instead of adding an internal boost just replace the smoke that comes outa the vents of the delorean with the vents glowing.

Apr 12 2007, 5:52pm Anchor

can't do glowing effects, sorry. And smoke isn't the style of 2015 cars.

Apr 13 2007, 6:50am Anchor

OkAY, then initial boost is left for cutscenes right? What if make the flying delorean burst fires when accelerating, like Cuban Hermes. From the vents and wheels?

Apr 13 2007, 6:53am Anchor

Is everything on the back of the DMC called "Flux"? :moddb: And I like if the flux (again 8)) bands are more similiar to the body, I mean color.

Apr 13 2007, 7:20am Anchor

Last I checked, Mr. Fusion and the Plutonium Chamber didn't have flux
Neither does the green tubes, red capacitor cans, blue capacitor cans, cooling vents, cooling plates, etc.

Apr 13 2007, 8:01am Anchor

But everything supports flux capacitor anyway.

Apr 13 2007, 10:49am Anchor

Wrong. The flux capacitor supports the time circuits by acting as a storage for the 1.21 jiggawatts of electricity. Not everything back there supports the flux capacitor you know. The vents for example, in bttf1, acted as cooling towers for the nuclear reaction that generated the 1.21 jiggawatts. Support for the plutonium chamber, not the flux capacitor.
