Back to the Future: Hill Valley is a full conversion mod for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Back to the Future: Hill Valley will be based on the Back to the Future Trilogy, allowing the player to re-enact all the great moments from the films. ok found the bike.ifp in the russian zip, now what do i do with that file?

open up you gta3.img file find bike.ifp delete it then replace it with the new one the rebuild the arcive

I tried that and I get a 'I/O error 123.'

I'm probably gonna have to reinstall everything now... Oh well.

i wrote a script for mine and added it using vcmm but thats normaly how i do it

And I bet, you left the file in the russian folder. Put it outside the russian folder. GTA3 Image Tool hates russian folders and gives you errors if you add files in russian folders.

ok i searched my gta3.img file using search and it said no matches found, can anyone help?

ok, i added the ped.ifp to anim, then i added bike.ifp from outside the russian folder to my gta.img and rebuilt the archive.
when i get on a faggio or pizza boy i'm still squatting and not standing up straight. Can anyone please help?

hey del do you know if there is a way to cange the animations of the reverse in the sakeboard mod to be the gas instead of the other one

um, one thought, in the "cuts" img file (in the 'anim' folder) i found 'bike_1.ifp', as well as 'bike_2.ifp' and 'bike_3.ifp', are those the ones that need to be replaced? many thanks

nope, the one in gta3.img. Cuts is for cutscenes.

ok i think i'm getting somewhere now...i was searching for bike.ifp not bikev.ifp, but i also found biked.ifp, and bikeh.ifp, and bikes.ifp which ones do i delete and is definitley the name of the one i add called bikev.ipf?

You never talked to me about that. It's not even in the main.scm. It's in the handling. And you'd want to keep it that way if you don't want to see two boards magically appear.

oh, i see. Well, i can't go around stealing code, so it's not going to be like the one in that mod. And for this mod, no it's not in the main.scm, it's in the handling.
