Well I'm guessing 1996 must be the best guess because its taken directly from the DVDs. Then again, why are we even discussing when Biff died? It has nothing to do with the game.

Here's the solution. Marty never gets the delorean in 2015 or in 1985A. No delorean, no free time travel. So, you can't make him go to 2015A. Doc's the only one who can, but he doesn't want to, so you don't get to :P

yeah, and I surely didn't think about his children...

I think that's a cool idea, to get to 1985a after the game just leave an almanac on Biff's doorstep lol Blast from the past must have an unlimited supply lol Now, to change history and get back to our reality, after you get the book back, say you went to 1885 and burned it in the fire at Doc's workshop, would that work? It would be fun to have different options to try

So if Marty isnt allowed to have the DeLorean in either of those years, what happens when he travels from the past to 2015? Is it just going to vanish right out from under you? And why should 2015 not be allowed to have a free DeLorean? That kinda takes some of the fun out of free roaming time traveling. The only real issue is traveling from 1985a to 2015. When the player is in 1985a, just take 2015 off of the list of years that can be traveled to.

I'm sure when in free roam (after one has beaten the game) every time period will be unlocked to be travelled to and from, I think DeLorean was just referring to during the game. I think even if you went to 2015 from 1985a it would still be the same, for the sake of creative license, lets use the lorraine shoots Biff and over time the town rebuilds itself theory. Maybe there could be some subtle changes (like the working clock) that wouldn't require a completely new map....

I was thinking of something but I'm not sure Delorean will want any more time machines in the game. I was thinking of taking the time circuits from the part3 delorean and placing them on the hood of the part two. So it'd be the part 2 DMC with part 3 circutis and it can fly. Could us a helicopter or something as a flying model. That would be the only time machine that could access 1985a if you ever wanted to go back to it. It's just a little idea I decided to throw out here.

eh, we have enough deloreans as it is. I don't want to drive in a city populated with time travelling deloreans.

Or TOYOTA's :) Like Celica styled as a time-machine, though you're right. There are not enough vehicles for it.
